Chandigarh BEd Admission 2025 is conducted by Panjab University, Chandigarh. It conducts a common entrance test (CET) for admission to the BEd, BEd Yoga, and BEd Special Education (Intellectual Disability) courses in colleges affiliated with Panjab University in Chandigarh. The online registration form opens in June 2025.

To be eligible for the Chandigarh BEd Admission 2025, candidates must secure 50% marks in their bachelor’s or master’s in Science/Social Science/Commerce/Humanities/Law or 55% marks in BTech degree or equivalent. The marks secured in the common entrance test will be only considered while calculating the merit. There is a relaxation of 5% marks for SC/ST/PwD candidates. Students must also note that, BEd is a 2-year teacher training course for candidates who wish to become a teacher.

Chandigarh BEd Admission 2025: Eligibility

  • Candidates must secure 50% marks in their bachelor’s or master’s degree in Science/Commerce/Humanities/Social Science/Law from a recognized board.
  • Candidates who have pursued BTech and have secured 55% marks are also eligible for Chandigarh BEd admission.
  • There is a relaxation in 5% marks for SC/ST/PwD candidates.
  • Seat reservation guidelines are laid out by the Chandigarh administration.
  • Applicants who are appearing for the final examination and the results have not been declared are also allowed to apply provisionally given that they submit the proof of result at the time of counselling.

  • You will get your login credentials. Use them to log in
  • After that, the applicant will need to fill up the application form
  • Enter your details, signature, photographs, qualification details, and any other required documents

  • Submit your application and take a printout for future reference.

Chandigarh BEd Admission 2025: Counselling

Applicants whose name appears in the final merit list are eligible to take part in the counselling process. During the process, applicants will be allocated institutes according to their rank on the merit list.

Two rounds of counseling will take place, the schedule for which will be notified by the University to eligible applicants. The counseling will have the following steps.

  • Eligible applicants will be notified of the counseling schedule.
  • After that, they will need to appear before the counseling committee on the specified date and time.
  • Candidates will then be alloted seats based on their rank on the merit list.
  • After that they have to report to the alloted college for document verification and admission formalities.
