Karnataka B.Ed Admission is conducted by the Karnataka State Open University. There is no entrance exam conducted for the Karnataka B.Ed Admission 2024. Admission to the BEd course in Karnataka is done purely on a merit basis.

Karnataka B.Ed Admission 2024: Eligibility Criteria

The Karnataka B.Ed eligibility criteria is decided by Karnataka University as per NCTE guidelines. Candidates interested in Karnataka admission must meet the following eligibility criteria to be eligible for the Karnataka B.Ed admission:

  • For general category students, a minimum of 50% is required either in Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree.
  • For reserved category candidates, a minimum of 45% marks is mandatory either in Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree.
  • Candidates must be at least 19 years of age to apply for Karnataka B.Ed Admission 2024
  • There is no upper age limit for Karnataka B.Ed admission. Students in the final year are eligible to apply.

Ans. A B.Ed from IGNOU has a similar value to a B.Ed through regular mode. The coursework is almost as taxing as a regular B.Ed.
