A great exposure for research(if you are interested )
professors are helpful, they take feedback and work upon those

Dislikes

campus indeed needs much upgradation in infrastructure

Fees and Financial Aid:

fees hike is not as such for me as they have already told us the amount at the starting and that would be the same throughout the course no increament.you will need around 3000 a month for mess , no as such scholarship provided by the institute

Good quality education and options are provided for everyone to choose there own path in life ether in extra crecular activities or study related activities. Students are give an opportunity to explore and understand different courses.
Multiple groups/ clubs : with multiple groups such as music club , drama club, sports clubs for different games, software (Slashdot) club , hardware club etc so there not a single day wasted.

Dislikes

Campus too big , although it is a good thing but for daily activities waking to and fro can be a bit too much without bicycle, but it is still manageable .
Some times the rules are followed very strictly and you can be finde 1000 rupees for delay in returning to campus after semester holidays. .

Fees and Financial Aid:

Tuition fee is divided into two groups,one for SC,ST and PWD And the rest separate. For SC St your tuition fee will be cancelled and total expenses come aut to about 1 lakh for 5 years , for gen ews obc the tution fee is 80k per year and the total expenses come out to 5 lakhs. They do provide "inspire scholarship" to specific students that canceles out there tution fee and also provide support in internship and other aspects.

Life at IISER KOLKATA

Likes

Studying library computer centre and cultural
The campus is very big with swimming pool

Dislikes

Administration is not very supportive with funds
Financial aid is generally not given by college

Fees and Financial Aid:

The fees is approx 85000 per month and there is no placement Guarantee but you get PhD in good colleges and internships opportunities are great here if you maintain a decent CGPA you'll get internship abroad

Fees and Financial Aid:

The fees structure of this college is 80000 for first-year it includes all fees ie hostel and fees is moderate as it has best labs. In eecemt years there is a hike in fees. Students are eligible for inspire scholarship govt of India as per DST norms. No campus placement.

An awesome experience!

Fee Structure And Facilities:

The fees of the institute have been rising from the past few years and is currently at rs.49000 per SEM for a general student along with all facilities. There are many scholarship (s ) available for people from disadvantageous social/economical backgrounds from the state government for students in science (along with few merit based institute scholarships)

Fees and Financial Aid:

The college initially offered scholarships for all the students. But it was limited to a few students due to the lack of fund. I'm not availing any scholarship.
