About BKCC
Brahmananda Keshab Chandra College, established in 1956, is an undergraduate college in Kolkata. It was named after the nineteenth century social reformer Keshab Chandra Sen. The college is affiliated to the West Bengal State University and situated on seven acres of land, near the Indian Statistical Institute and at north-west corner of a lake. The College believes in the idea that education does not consist in mere learning, but involves fostering a sense of social responsibility among its students, the future pioneers of social change.

Educational Excursions - The students attended educational excursion held at Orissa, Sikkim, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Gujarat, Uttaranchal and many places of North East region.
Lekhamanjari - The college publishes an annual magazine, 'Lekhamanjari' each year. It showcases the literary and artistic reflections of the students who contribute their essays, short stories, poems, travelogue and drawings.

Admission:
For being eligible to pursue in zoology you have to score a good marks in biology in your 12th's boards, for taking admission in this college a good marks is necessity in the particular subject you want to take. You could easily find the application form in the website of this college when the process of form filling would start, when I filled the form online it was free of cost to fill up the form, so I think application fees is free of cost and application dates are also be available in the website. Yes reservation of seats also available. I don't find any hazard in the process of admission.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The course is 2 years long, with 4 semesters in it. The course has the core subjects and topics along with it, they offer various specialisations like algebra, fundamentals, Algebrix topology and many more options.

Economics is a very vast field and has wide applications in today's world. There has been a constant need for a certified economist to measure and work upon various issues like inflation etc. Our college has a syllabus sufficient enough for a child to gain knowledge about the matters in the curriculum as well as in the outside world. Many co-related topics and subjects are also included as a part of our curriculum.
Admission:
As of my department's concern, I really do not see any drawbacks in the management or office.
