IISER IAT 2024 Round 8 admission offer has been released on September 6, 2024. Candidates can download the admission offer on the official website iiseradmission.in with your user ID and password. The last date to accept and download the offer letter is September 8, 2024. Along with the offer, IISER IAT 2024 cut off for round 8 has been released on the official website. The cut off has been released category-wise and institute wise. The cut off mentions the closing rank of each institute.

IISER IAT 2024 counselling process is ongoing. The counselling process is done where the selected candidates in the merit list are offered seats at various IISER institutions across the nation. IISER 2024 counselling registration and preference form fill up was open from June 25 to July 6, 2024.

Earlier, the final answer key of IAT 2024 was published on 21st June. Based on the final answer key the IAT results has been published on June 25, 2024. IISER IAT Score 2024 is considered for all the seats that are filled through KVPY and JEE Advanced scores. All the qualifying candidates in IISER IAT 2024 examination can take admission to 5-year BS MS programmes at IISERs and 4-year BS programmes at IISER Bhopal.

IISER Eligibility Criteria

IISER 2024 Results are now available on the official website of IISER. Candidates can register for allotment of seats, after the result declaration. The seat will be allotted on the basis of merit secured in the exam. Check IISER 2024 Cutoff

The result will be different for all the categories which are through KYPY, JEE Advanced, and SCB channel.
Candidates shall be offered admission to the college as per the rank obtained by them in the entrance exam or the other way round.
The merit list will be released by Joint Action Committee. Qualified candidates have to complete some formalities which include the Seat Acceptance Fee and other related options at the time of admission.
If the candidate has paid the SAF, he/she can avail the Float facility which can be used for admissions to any other IISER, if the candidate has taken admission to one of the IISER.

IISER 2024 Merit List

The merit list for IISER is prepared on the basis of total number of seats which are available through the SCB, KVPY channel and JEE 2024.
Candidates will be allotted seats based on their name in the IISER merit list 2024.
The applicant’s name will figure on the IISER’s merit list depending on the choice of programme and institute filled by the candidate.
Candidates will have the option to apply through different channels, but they will have to ensure that they meet the eligibility criteria laid down by IISER 2024.

IISER Counselling

IISER 2024 Counselling

IISER 2024 Counselling is conducted in 8 rounds. Moreover, Special Round for IISER SCB Admissions might also be held in case the seats remain vacant. IISER Admissions 2024 Counselling of students is done simultaneously for JEE Advanced, KVPY and through IISER Aptitude Test. IISER Counselling for applicants from all three channels (KVPY, SCB, JEE) will be conducted in July 2024.

IISER 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Following is the eligibility criteria for IISER 2024:

Nationality:

Indian National, PIO & OCI candidates are eligible to apply.

KVPY Stream:

Candidates have a valid KVPY scholarship commencing from 2024-2025 session.

SCB Streams:

Passed 10+2 or intermediate examination with science stream in 2018 or 2024.
Candidates have to secure marks equal or above the cut-off percentage in their respective boards.
The cut-off percentage marks is 55% in 10+2 level for all boards for SC/ST/KM category candidates.
There is a 5% relaxation in qualifying marks for the OBC-NC & PwD category.

JEE Advanced Stream:

Must qualify for JEE Advanced exam & secure a rank within 10000 in CRL (Common Rank List).
Their category rank will be considered, for OBC-NC/SC/ST/PwD category.

IISER Application Form

IISER 2024 Application Form

IISER 2024 Application Form can be filled out online on the official website of IISER. Students need to fill IISER Online application through SCB (State & Central Boards) streams, KVPY Stream & JEE (Advanced) Stream.

Step 1- Filling of Application Form

Candidates are required to provide the following personal and academic details:

Full Name (as per Class X Board examination certificate)
Date of birth (as per Class X Board examination certificate)
Gender
Category (GEN/OBC/SC/ST)
Whether belonging to PD category.
Year of passing Class XII
Name of parent/guardian
Address for communication

After submission of the above details, an Application Number and password will be generated

Step 2- Fee Payment

Here are some Application Fee details which are required to make payment:

For General candidates, they have to deposit the Application Fee of INR 1500.
For SC/ST category & Kashmiri Migrants, they have to deposit the Application Fee of INR 750.
Candidates can pay the fee online or offline mode.
The fee is non-refundable.

Step 3- Upload Photograph

After successful payment of the application fee, applicants are required to upload a photograph according to the following specifications:

Must be a recent, colored passport size photograph
Format: jpg
Size: not be more than 1MB
The file name should have alphanumeric characters only

Step 4- Submission

Once the entire process is complete, submit the online IISER 2024 Application Form and take a printout of the same on A4 size paper.
The signature of the candidate and a parent/ guardian is compulsory on the printout of the IISER 2024 Application Form.
The barcode printed on the IISER 2024 Application form must not tamper.
The printout of the IISER 2024 Application Form and the bank slip of payment of IISER examination fee must be taken safely by the candidate as they are required to be produced at the time of counselling.

The IISER 2024 Admit Card will be released on the official portal of IISER. Candidates can download their Admit Card for the SCB channel through online mode. No other mode will be entertained to get IISER 2024 Admit Card. Without an admit card, candidates will not be allowed to enter the exam center. Candidates have to bring a valid admit card along with the filled application form to the examination hall.

Step 3: Provide the Application Number and Date of Birth

IISER 2024 Answer Key: Objection Window

The authority has also opened the objection window for the candidates who are not satisfied with the answers. The objection window will open on 12th June and will remain open till 14th June.
