What is IISER Application Form 2027?

The IISER Application Form 2027 is the online registration form at iiseradmission.in through which you can apply for admission to BS, BS-MS, and BTech programmes at all seven IISERs. IISER was established to build world-class research institutions focused exclusively on basic sciences — unlike engineering colleges, IISERs do not use JEE Main scores; admission is through the IISER Aptitude Test (IAT), the JEE Advanced channel, or the State/Central Board (SCB) channel. IISER Application Form 2027: Important Dates

The official 2027 schedule has not been announced. All dates below are expected based on the 2026 cycle (form open: March 5; deadline: April 13; correction window: April 16–18; exam: June 7) and will be updated as soon as IISERs publish the official notification at iiseradmission.in.

IISER 2027 Eligibility Criteria (Before You Apply)

How to Fill IISER Application Form 2027

The IISER 2027 application form will be available at iiseradmission.in from March 2027. You will need to complete two phases — new registration and detailed form filling — and pay the fee before the deadline. An application without a completed fee payment is treated as incomplete and will not be processed.

Phase 1: New Registration

1. Visit iiseradmission.in when the window opens in March 2027 and click "New Registration" or "Apply Online".
2. Enter your name, date of birth, mobile number, and email address exactly as they appear on your Class 10 certificate — these fields are non-editable after registration.
3. Verify your mobile number using the OTP sent via SMS.
4. Set a strong password and note your Application Number immediately — you will use it for every future login, including admit card download and counselling.
5. Save your Application Number and password in a secure place; recovery options are limited on the portal.

Phase 2: Fill the Application Form

1. Log in using your Application Number and Password at iiseradmission.in.
2. Fill in personal details: name, date of birth, gender, category, nationality, and contact information.
3. Fill in academic details: Class 10 and 12 board name, year of passing (or "appearing" for 2027 students), roll number, and aggregate percentage.
4. Select your admission channel(s): IAT, JEE Advanced, and/or SCB. You may select more than one channel in the same application.
5. If applying via the JEE Advanced channel, enter your JEE Advanced 2027 roll number and rank — this information is available only after JEE Advanced results are declared.
6. If applying via the SCB channel, enter your board name and confirm you meet the qualifying percentile for your board.
7. Select your exam centre preferences for the IAT (up to 3 cities in order of preference, if applying through the IAT channel).
8. Upload your photograph, signature, and all other required documents in the formats and sizes specified in the Documents Required section.
9. Review every detail carefully — cross-check your name spelling, date of birth, category, and channel selection before proceeding to payment.
10. Pay the application fee via debit card, credit card, net banking, or UPI.
11. Download and save the confirmation page as a PDF — take a printout and keep it safe throughout the admission process.

Note: Submit only one application form. Multiple applications from the same student will be summarily rejected and the fee will not be refunded under any circumstances.

Note: Upload a recent passport-size photograph with a white background and 70–80% of your face clearly visible. Do not upload edited, filtered, studio-retouched, or selfie-style photographs — these are rejected during scrutiny and the application fee is not refunded.

1. Visit iiseradmission.in during the correction window period.
2. Log in with your Application Number and Password.
3. Click "Application Form Correction" or "Edit Application".
4. Make the required changes and review the updated form carefully before submitting.
5. If you change to a higher-fee category, complete the additional fee payment to save the correction.
6. Submit the corrected form and download the revised confirmation page — the original page becomes invalid once corrections are saved.
