We will get opportunities for scholarships from aicte like pragati etc.
The hostel is ok. fees are good for one year compared to outside the college hostel is good with food.
Highest package: 10 l, average package: 4 l. top recruiting companies are tcs, zoho, hexaware, wipro, lti, embedur, capgemini, kantar, kaar, and some other companies that visit our campus.

Dislikes

Here the things i dislike because the college maintenance is very low.
There is no mention in cleaning the collage it will be worst
I dislike the college environment which is not at all maintained

Here the things i liked are campus is good very nice.
Campus have lot free place we can roam any where it is good thing.
Study system is very there is no pressure for the student here.

Dislikes

Here the things i dislike they are college fees.
In this college there no transport system and the roads also not gold.
Here the things i dislike because the college maintenance is very low.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I'm interested in this course it's like my passion for designing and constructing the buildings to my course. This department has a good future in the upcoming days. Their faculty are all Ph.D. in their studies. Here examinations are superb and cool no need to worry about that.

Pondicherry engineering college review

Likes

Good road connectivity, college is on the highway so directly from bus we can reach here
Pondicherry is nice place to enjoy and to roam, there is a beach in Pondicherry where we can go and can sit there

Dislikes

Hostel fees is very high and the fees does not match with the service offered in hostel
There is no placement in college and very few companies visit and that too they take very few students

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible after 6th sem Very few companies visit for mechanical, like MRF 3lpa Go speedy go 3.5 lpa Kone elevator 3 lpa Whirlpool 10lpa And 2 companies more There is very less placement in the college Highest package: 10lpa whirlpool and that too only 1 girl was selected Average: 3lpa 25% placement My plan is to write gate and get into a good college

MY COLLEGE

Likes

I liked the freedom they gave to us in studies as well as in making friends
I liked the ambience at pondicherry engineering college
Here we can get a chance to learn different type of courses

Dislikes

The thing i dislike more about the college is students disrespecting professors
they should consider maintaining the conduction of fans and tubelights.
Regarding placements they should make more progress.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum was quite good and effective. All our faculty were Ph.D. scholars, they were very friendly and gave good guidance for us. We were around 60 and the faculty were around 10 which was more than enough. Exams will be conducted in May and December.

Likes

First thing is freedom. Yes we can live as we are about to, but not in the classes
Second thing is culture and environment. Everyone would love this college environment as it was organized around 240 acres
And final thing campus placements provided by this college is good

Dislikes

Hostel accommodation and food quality's are not good as we expected
No special care by faculties. We need to study hard ourselves even though they took classes for us
The process with administrative departments are worst than anything.

Placement Experience:

Finally, we have more than 250 students get placed every year. The placed students also train us on how to prepare for our placements along with placement support. And the companies which we get here are most of the software side and as well as other departments too. We have placement assistance from the pre-final year itself. That means we are all gonna trained since the third year begins. And the highest packages here we can expect around 11 to 15 lpa based upon their companies glass door. So I would say everyone will get placed in this college even if they do not belong to the non-IT department.

I like the association of different language students
I like the auditorium which is better than the department infrastructure
Campus life is quite good because of different from different states

Dislikes

The way of teaching from faculty who are very ignorants

From the 7th semester's end, you can have the opportunity to appear for placements. The core companies are very less to negligible. Technical companies mainly offer job opportunities. The average package differs from 400000-600000 per year based on the department background while the highest is this year, 1015000 per year. There will be 10 -20 students placed from each technical department like CSE, IT, and ECE

I choose this course because of the increase in demand for people in IT .faculty student ratio is 1:30.all the staffs are PhD holders and they teach well and self-study is much needed to shine here. the exams are conducted almost once a month. the exams are not much easy to pass and proper preparation is needed to score well

Experience of my college

Course Curriculum Overview:

I had an interest in the automobile side and hence decided to choose this course. Mostly we had an average of about 100 students. The teaching was very good and the teachers were so down to earth. Semester exams will be arriving once in four months, hence a better course in this college.

What is your review of electrical engineering at Pondicherry Engineering College?

Some of my friends who studied at Pondicherry Engineering College. They gave the college a fair rating of 3.5 out of 5. Leaving the part of active clubs and committees, every other aspect of the college is pretty nice.

In your third year, you will be given a chance to work on industrial projects.
PEC Pondicherry provides an all-round experience.
If you want to become an expert in your subject then this college is the best choice. But if you want placements, then you will face a little bit of difficulty but that is also eradicated in the software sector.
Most of the faculty members are well experienced and highly cooperative. EEE department has a very knowledgeable and helpful faculty.
