The college provide internship and the in plant training for the best students who are all performing well in the studies the experience was very good to me.
The course structure was excellent, it made me to learn all the basics to the core level and gave a strong opportunity to learn.

Dislikes

There is no mention in cleaning the collage it will be worst

PTU campus and academic life

Likes

Environment around the campus is Rich in greenery
Campus is vibrant and full of diversity from other states

Dislikes

Roads are not built at par at certain places
Canteen and other amenities are too far from hostel

"The college life"

Likes

Things I like in the college is the staffs are more experienced.
I like the way they show more interest in sports.

Dislikes

I don't like the buildings because it is very old.
The college canteen will be bad , the cost is high

Placement Experience:

The college placements will be average. Ingot placed in the company which give 7,00,000 per year.But my some of my friends are not placed so I'm telling it as average. TCS, Infosis etc. are the companies visited our campus drive.

About my college

Likes

In this college I like that all boys and girls are in same ratio
Also I like the programs and culture in this college

Dislikes

Here I didn't like the taste of the food in canteen
The college roads are not well in this college

Placement Experience:

Here the placement is 60% to 70% and we have lots of campus placements and we don't worry about placement, we have offered to get the placement and many companies are visited to select students. after my degree, my plan is to get a good job

My honest review about Puducherry Technological University

Likes

Most of the professors are encouraging and friendly
Have students coming from all parts of India so it will be a good opportunity to know their culture and tradition too.

Placement Experience:

There was a huge number of companies coming to our college before COVID-19 pandemic. But just after that our college turned into a university and thus decreasing it's value among other colleges in India. So now the placements are poor compared to what it had 3,4 years back. Now an average student can only get a placement of about 3LPA and it's not assured too.

Likes

Teaching of staff was so good and it is easy to understand.

Dislikes

Maintenance of lab is not good and some equipment not working properly.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Teaching was so good. Smart classroom are provided and study material are provided every day. All doubts are cleared and curriculum was so good. Good management and all problems are resolved on time. Good atmosphere.

Staffs are good at teaching in department
More free periods for students so that they learn other skills

Dislikes

Hoste food is worst and no signal inside the college
The distance between boys hostel and the department is approximately 1.5km

I choosed this choose because of my interest in electronics. The curriculum is near to real-world applications but mostly for academic pursuits. The course curriculum should be more practical and teaching methods are good. The exam timings are pre scheduled in academic circular in the start of semester.

It's a government collage and we have our own freedom here
The climate is very nice here, beach is opposite to the collage and we can go by walk to beach

Dislikes

Very old collage and the development works are very slow
In the hostels the mobile signal is unavailable

Course Curriculum Overview:

I think the course quality here is slightly compromising as the majority of the seats are allocated to Pondicherians we don't find any active or really chill people here, fights are very common here, student come drunk to classes especially localets

PEC A BAD CHOICE

I like nothing about this college other than a beach front of it

Dislikes

I dislike the college environment which is not at all maintained

I chose this college because I had no other options left, I got civil branch from CSAB, Qualifications of the faculty here is phd MTech and etc etc but none can really teach well. Exams are being held every three months. Difficulty of the exam is quite good

I opt for computer science because it has a good placement record in my college and there are many staff who encourage and train the students to get placed Most of the faculty are b.tech and completed Ph.D. It is easy to pass the exam because of the preparation they gave to students

What is your review of electrical engineering at Pondicherry Engineering College?

Some of my friends who studied at Pondicherry Engineering College. They gave the college a fair rating of 3.5 out of 5. Leaving the part of active clubs and committees, every other aspect of the college is pretty nice.

In your third year, you will be given a chance to work on industrial projects.
PEC Pondicherry provides an all-round experience.
If you want to become an expert in your subject then this college is the best choice. But if you want placements, then you will face a little bit of difficulty but that is also eradicated in the software sector.
Most of the faculty members are well experienced and highly cooperative. EEE department has a very knowledgeable and helpful faculty.
