Life in Pondicherry Technological University

Since ece is good in both hardware and software i took this course . The staff can be more friendly and give some real life examples it will help more. During the time of exam it's very tough and all exams and classes are happening.

7 th sem you are eligible if you don't have any backlogs. Like 15 companies came and made offers . The percentage of students getting into the placement by college is like 60% . My plan is to complete a master degree or to try to work in zoho company.

For the students who comes through jee mains or advanced the fees is 1,75,000 for the first year and 1,50,000 for the remaining three years . The amount is same for all the courses. And for the students who comes through centac the fees is less and it is around 35,000 for the first year and 14,000 for the remaining years. The scholarship is available for the state government students . The fees structure is same for all students and for sc and st there is also a lot of scholarship available.

Yearly once rejour is conducted it is a cultural function which happens for 3 days . 1 st day a celebrity will be called and the following day normal function like dance , singing will be conducted and on the final day we will have dj night. And the other events are like pongal, diwali, ugadhi, and so on.

I have applied to various NIT*s but didn't get admission since my jee mains mark is only 84% . I was pretty sad . If you are sc or st you can get into that college with lesser mark but if you come from general it is needed like 90 above and mbc is like 85 above

Some faculties are good they will be friendly meanwhile some just come and go for namesake . The courses change according to the system and most staff are temporarily staff. And regarding exams there will be 3 CAT (Assessment test) and 2 assignment and 1 midsem for internal marks they will also consider attendance Mark (it is for 5) so totally 40 marks for internals and remaining 60 is for practical and theory . The exam fees should be paid when they ask you normally it is 250 for theory paper and 350 for practical paper and 100 for grade sheet . So if you have 4 theory and 3 practical the exam fees will be around 2150 for a semester and it changes accordingly to the semester and number of courses

after 6.30 girls are not allowed outside the hostel and for boys it's upto 9. No gym faculty. Library will be closed by 6.30 and canteen will be closed by 5.30 . Some places to roam outside are auroville beach , mall and more . There is no such place to roam inside the college.
