I liked the freedom they gave to us in studies as well as in making friends
I liked the ambience at pondicherry engineering college
Here we can get a chance to learn different type of courses

Dislikes

The thing i dislike more about the college is students disrespecting professors
they should consider maintaining the conduction of fans and tubelights.
Regarding placements they should make more progress.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum was quite good and effective. All our faculty were Ph.D. scholars, they were very friendly and gave good guidance for us. We were around 60 and the faculty were around 10 which was more than enough. Exams will be conducted in May and December.

Class Size: 4Course Fees: INR 30000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure was around 25000 at the beginning and for every semester the fee would be 13000. They provided a scholarship opportunity and it was helpful. Regarding hostelers, they might feel difficulty because of the hostel fee.

Campus Life

Life on campus was like heaven. We made friends from other departments. Every year they will be conducting a culture where students from different colleges will participate and win price. In our college there is a library, we can get any book from there. And a big playground, basketball ground, and indoor games.

Admission

For this course, the eligibility criteria are just you should have scored good marks in your higher secondary examination. I have applied through CENTAC which is an official website for counseling. I didn't take any reservations. No improvement was needed in the admission process, it was an easy one.

Know About Puducherry Technological University

Placement Experience:

By 7th Semester, students are eligible for Campus Placements and there are several companies that have visited our college during a course of 2-3 months and there were many offers made, highest package was of 9.5 LPA and the average is of 5-6LPA Students are getting Placed very well, and i have place already so my plan is to get into the job and excell in the IT Sector

I got into SMVEC First, after a month later, i got into my current college PTU in which everything was better than SMVEC, SMVEC is a lot more like a school, while PTU is more like a college where the staffs dont consider about any rules, but they be on time and perfect when it comes to studies.
