We will get opportunities for scholarships from aicte like pragati etc.
The hostel is ok. fees are good for one year compared to outside the college hostel is good with food.
Highest package: 10 l, average package: 4 l. top recruiting companies are tcs, zoho, hexaware, wipro, lti, embedur, capgemini, kantar, kaar, and some other companies that visit our campus.

Dislikes

Here the things i dislike because the college maintenance is very low.
There is no mention in cleaning the collage it will be worst
I dislike the college environment which is not at all maintained

Know About Puducherry Technological University

Likes

Not Very Strict, and not very regular in Timing, Classes can be shifted according to the students availability and ofcourse of the staffs
Placement was very good, i got placed in well known Company
Students are also very extroverts, and staffs are free, can talk to them like our friends

Dislikes

Very big Campus, so not much good transport facility need to walk long
No Sports support, kinda dull process with sports
If u have any backlash or target with the staff, you may not be clearing the subject until they forgive you or feel to make you pass

Placement Experience:

By 7th Semester, students are eligible for Campus Placements and there are several companies that have visited our college during a course of 2-3 months and there were many offers made, highest package was of 9.5 LPA and the average is of 5-6LPA Students are getting Placed very well, and i have place already so my plan is to get into the job and excell in the IT Sector

PTU in Detail

Likes

Almost all faculties are PhD scholars who studied in prestigious institutes.
Campus area is over 200 acres and comprises a nature-centric environment.
People all over India have applied for PTU, so the culture is diverse.

Placement Experience:

PTU focuses on both research and placements, readying students for both the corporate world and self-development for higher studies or entrepreneurship. Top companies including Google, PayPal, etc. have taken students of PTU with high salary packages, one with around 40 LPA. Students are also made ready for higher studies in reputed institutes based on their interests.

Life in Pondicherry Technological University

Likes

The students were friendly and even the staff are friendly.
The atmosphere is okay and good also transportation facilities are available near by .
Vehicles are allowed inside the college and phones are allowed.

Dislikes

The hostel facility for boys is not that good and for girls too . The wifi connection in hostel and college is literally bad also except bsnl and airtel all others signals will be down inside the campus
The food in hostel is not that good and canteen food also contains mostly fast food .
The classroom is not maintained properly, poor washrooms and the water is not so good

Placement Experience:

7 th sem you are eligible if you don't have any backlogs. Like 15 companies came and made offers . The percentage of students getting into the placement by college is like 60% . My plan is to complete a master degree or to try to work in zoho company.

Life around PTU

Likes

I personally liked the diversity that is people from different regions here
I liked the symposiums conducted earlier which took off our stress then and now
The college is somewhat liberal like they dont trouble you that much

Dislikes

Infrastructure during rainy days , especially some department blocks like civil etc...
We dont get signal inside our classrooms and department
Some teachers dont show that much interest towards teaching

Placement Experience:

Placements are okay but there has been a drop in placements , from 7th sem students are eligible , there are quite a lot of companies like zoho , accenture , etc .My plans after getting the degree is to get a job obviously but Im not sure if it's through campus

Here in our branch staffs are gud , almost all have doctrates degree and most of them did phd too
If it comes to placement in our branch tht is ece , its quiet gud compare to other branch here
As our college is near to beach , environment is quiet gud tho sometimes we feel like we are in forest.

Dislikes

I don't like its infrastructure eventhough they have more place , they are not using it properly .
Most of the buildings here are soo old atleast they have to renovate things
Language barrier , they treat othere states in different way , if we have some works in admin , if a person from local there work used to finish early than us , and they even take more time to complete and ask lot of unnecessary questions.

Placement Experience:

From 6th sem students are eleigibe for campus placements Texas, capgemini, wabag, TCs and many more Capgemini took around 30 to 40 students from ece , and offered avg pack of 3 to 5 lac per annum . And some are placed in other companies too . Hiegest package till now is 12 lac per annum ig

My experience as a EEE student.

Likes

This College has a good ground facility.
The teachers use both PPT and blackboard type of teaching.
All the teachers provide guidance personally for placement

Dislikes

The infrastructure of the departments are not good
The roads inside the College is in bad condition
The bathrooms are not in a good condition.

Placement Experience:

This College provides placement option you can attend placement in the seventh semester.Tge average placement package is 4-4.5 lakhs per annum,the highest package is 12 lakh per annum.More than 60% of students getting placed.

Good environment and eco friendly structure and design
Supportive staffs and persons for all the activities
College culturals are very nice and enjoyable

Dislikes

They put some lot of rules and regulations
The college sports events are not good and put lot of instruction

In my college The education is affordable with good value. reducing financial pressure but still providing academic credits.
The diversity among the students. gathering different experience from peoples all over India
Technical and Cultural festival such as Rejior, Mechnium and many clubs like literary clubs, design clubs etc enhances the extracuricular activities of students.

Dislikes

The Administrative process is outdated and needs more paperwork for approval. there is no seperate website for seeing results
The college Infrastructure is not upto the standards and the maintenance process takes long time due to lack of funding
The Campus Placement is depreciating than previous years. the offers which are coming are not most likely for the academics.

I love there's a lot of free hours between the lectures.
So usually we play during those free hours.
And roaming the college during those hours which makes a lot of memories

Dislikes

Roads . Roads in the college is very worst.
Parking and traffic rules also is very worst.

Placement Experience:

Training and placement may be good or bad depending on the different departments that is 9 departments because for the department like cse. Ece there is a lot of software companies are coming but for the department like mech it is less.
