Course Curriculum Overview

Mechanical engineering has a vast scope so I opted for this discipline. The staffs were good and the teaching will be excellent as there are phd staff. The team here will be referring to IIT subjects in order to improve the standard. 4 months once the semester exams take place and it is somewhat easy to clear.

Class Size: 200Course Fees: INR 14000 per year

Placement Experience

From 3rd semester students will be eligible for campus placements. I visited many MNC companies like cognizant, LTI etc. The highest package of our college is 15 lpa and the average package is about 5lpa Nearly 95 companies are visiting our campus.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee for merit students is 14k per year. This fee structure is somewhat liberal so that everyone can pay per year. I think the college can take charge of referring internships so that students can benefit from their future use.

Campus Life

Yearly, a cultural event named PECOFFES will be conducted so that students can participate in any event and enjoy the atmosphere. A big library will be available inside the campus, which will benefit the students. Projectors are also available in each classroom. For the betterment of students sports activities take place every year. Literary clubs were encouraging too on our campus.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel here will be neat and clean. A room will be provided for all students but the beds and pillows will not be provided. The meal quality is somewhat good not too good. The fee for a hostel is 60k per year and the registration for hostels will be done in the administrative department.

Admission

The admission will be based on the HSC marks. The CENTAC in pondicherry would be releasing the merit list if we applied online. Then as per the cut-off marks, the students are allotted to their respective departments.

Know About Puducherry Technological University

Placement Experience:

By 7th Semester, students are eligible for Campus Placements and there are several companies that have visited our college during a course of 2-3 months and there were many offers made, highest package was of 9.5 LPA and the average is of 5-6LPA Students are getting Placed very well, and i have place already so my plan is to get into the job and excell in the IT Sector

I got into SMVEC First, after a month later, i got into my current college PTU in which everything was better than SMVEC, SMVEC is a lot more like a school, while PTU is more like a college where the staffs dont consider about any rules, but they be on time and perfect when it comes to studies.
