The fee structure is different from other DU colleges. Since the college offers more facilities, the fee is higher than other DU colleges. But the college is also known for the scholarships and placements it offers. There are numerous scholarships for SC/ST students, and students belonging to EWS. There are also many scholarships on the basis of merit.
I am not aware of the fees hikes over the past several years but I know that the fees hasnt been increased in the last 2 years. No scholorships or financial assitances are provided by the college which i believe are totally justified given the very low fees in the beginning. I havent receieved any job with stipend in the college. Overall, the cost to study is very low and it is totally value for money in the long term.
The fee structure is semester-wise which includes everything on campus and your department. There is a number of scholarships, you'll get throughout college, but it's hard to get them. Generally, you don't qualify on the family income criteria. There are no campus jobs.
The only thing I would say is that the college provides the best teachers you could ever find. They are knowledgeable, friendly and ready to solve our problems anytime. They never say "no" to work. Every single teacher in the Physics department is highly talented, knowledgeable, and have no ego. They are ready to help us whenever needed. They make studies superb fun and easy. They won't miss the tutorials. All the practical subject of the teachers are very helpful. The staff are very humble, friendly and helpful. The students can skip a class or two, but the teachers are really punctual and never missed any class unless there is something big issue. All in all, I am learning a lot from my college, my classmates, my teachers.
