So I completed two internships during my time at Stephen's - One was with Network18 CNN-IBN as a desk writer. This was an amazing oppirtunity for the wannabe journalist in me to understand the ropes of the world of journalism. It was an amazing experience enabled to better gauge my future cours of action as a writer. The second internship was with NSDC. An amazing team with even more amazing job profile.

As I mentioned earlier, it is to be noted that placements are mainly for BA Economics honours and a few other BSC courses. We have a placement cell through which we can apply for internships and placements, we can upload our certificates in their online portal, and they'll let us know if we're selected. Just a few days ago, I got an internship opportunity from Eduport, an educational startup from Kerala, but I couldn't accept it as I was physically unwell.

College for me dosant provide any internship opportunities. Exploring college offers is an exciting step toward your future. Our college offers very good placements compared to other colleges of Delhi University. But ofcourse less than the IITs. So from 5th semester onwards, students can apply to placements. So in our college, there is a campus placement cell, that take care about all the students placements. At the first stage it verified all the students cv and resume who want to apply for placements. Then it provides all the information and details of the companies to students. Students apply to those companies and they get shortlisted by the companies according to their applications. The final round is interview. On the basis of interview students finally get selected for the placements. Many companies visited like meesho, airtel, myntra, samsung, McKinsey and many others. Students from courses like economics, mathematics, english, usually get good placements. But it also depends on person skills, communication skills apart from his grades and course. The highest package is 22 LPA and the average package is 8.3 LPA. But it varies according to students.

Students are provided multiple internship opportunities from their second year almost on a weekly basis. Companies include HUL, DE Shaw, JSW, Dalberg, Espalier AI, Sannam S4 etc. Companies are separated into two based on stipend. Tier 1 companies offer stipend greater than or equal to 20k per month. Tier 2 offer less than 20k per month. All rules regarding internships are briefed by the CPC well in advance. Internnships are usually open to students from all courses.

The Placement Cell of the Campus by its name is Campus Placement cell. It is a student-led body that from its inception has invited the top companies including McKinsey, Accenture, D.E. Shaw, etc. Hence, it provides a competent and high package base for the students in the corporate world. The highest package was 25 LPA. The college within the Cell collaborates with NGOs, wildlife sanctuaries as well as other opportunities for individuals who want to get into the social aspect of corporate space. Students become eligible in their 3rd years when the Campus is bombarded with placement companies with various opportunities

There are soo many companies offers in internship all of main company like uniliver, reliance, tata ,HDFC Lic and many more There are soo many project and these companies come every year to take interview

Personally speaking I did not intern during my time at the college due to UPSC preparation but many of my classmates did. Some who wanted to pursue further education went to intern under publication houses, lawyers, or assisting professors etc.

Various MNCs visit the college every year and it does provide very good opportunites for the students to get placed and get a fair enough starting positions. The average package is around 8-10LPA.

As a First Year student I haven't done any internships but by participating in vox populi of social Service league of st stephen's college I came to know about the internship opportunities and all Companies like Tech Mahindra, WWF , CRY ,J - Pal , Feeding India , pravah , Minerva impact and so on. We should approach personally by filling our Google forms to know about their roles and projects.
