The faculty was good teaching wise they possesed the required knowledge.
Event is very best . i liked college campus . my classroom is bets
Etc, provide head to head career council for the chemistry students encouraged by our beloved hod .

The teachers were openly biased. no student was caught accountable for their actions.
The teachers are openly biased and it's difficult to approach them it's not a pleasant experience.
Either they are too busy or they talk in a very rude and savage way so i felt they were not approachable ofcourse depends from person to person.

Best department for microbiology in Mumbai

Likes

The instrumentation of the college is good
Multiple instruments are available so that every student gets hand on experience
students are been exposed to various research project which gives them enough amount iof skills since the degree level

Dislikes

The big instruments are available all the time
only one classroom is available hence lot of chaos and no proper time management
Syllabus too much hence not completed on time

Course Curriculum Overview:

The college must develope the infrastucre of the department and make it more comfortable to work. Many facilties are available whch students use and some arent working due to lack of knowledge of students.Wahrooms arent well and the canteens too.

Likes

The college values tradition and culture.
They have several scholarship and freeship schemes
The campus life is something Ruia is known for.

Dislikes

The infrastructure should develop more in the departments.
Several amazing facilities are available but aren't working properly
Washrooms aren't always cleaned properly

The curriculum is such that it paves your way towards clearing entrance exams. It covers over-all topics that are included in the syllabi of CSIR UGC NET - Life Sciences. In the whole academic year, they have internals as well as external assessments.

The indepth knowledge i gained. Education wise it was spot on.
The faculty was good teaching wise they possesed the required knowledge.
Instruments were well maintained in the laboratory

My admission was done a lil later than the other college students they weren't very welcoming of that
Opportunities were mainly given to the favorite students regardless of scores.
The teachers were openly biased. No student was caught accountable for their actions.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course had all the relevant information. Education was top notch. I got indepth knowledge about topics I would usually overlook. Instead of studying only for marks I was really interested in the subject now.

First of all Teachers are best in teaching
Head of Department of biotechnology I liked the most
College fest is also at another level alot of fun events

The Construction work is going on which I hate alot(2023-2024)

The Biotechnology course of Ruia College is much better than other colleges of Mumbai because of there Teaching staff and non teaching staffs , One thing I like is the HOD of the department (Strict and disciplined along with kind and Cute from inside),only the advance instruments are not available for Practices.

The library, faculty, green house, annual fests.
Research oriented activities like avishkar and supporting students for researching

Dislikes

Lack of placement for botany subject. Office service such as concession for railway line were too long and took the whole day

The curriculum is a mix of university syllabi and some additions as the college has academic autonomy. The faculty is well qualified and have P.hD in their subject. The student's teacher ratio is 1 teacher for 4-5 students. The exam is double checking by 2 teachers and their average is final marks.

Remarks:

The college is really very good. If you live in Mumbai or in nearby suburbs and you are not interested in pursuing engineering or medical fields, then this should be the first college you should consider. It has a very good infrastructure, faculty, reputation, and standard. The is located at the center of the city, so it is easy to travel here daily. The cost of education is a little higher, but it's worth the cost. Only thing they need to work on is after college placements and job opportunities for students

Excellent experience being here.

Remarks:

The college is quite wonderful with all the facilities such as labs, lib, canteen etc and manu others. It has a wonderful infrastructure. Teachers are quite good. Overall i find my self completely satisfied with the service offered by the college.
