How different is CS treated than IT in UIT RGPV?

Some of my friends studied at UIT RGPV. According to them, there is not much difference because the syllabus of both branches is pretty similar. Only a few subjects are different. Here I will be providing some facts which might give you a clear picture. A CS degree isn't required for an IT professional, but it can open doors that might otherwise be closed to you. Fees and Financial Aid:

As it is a government college so all the scholarships are accessible if you are eligible for it. Example TFW, scholarship for OBC people , scholarship for St and sc candidates, they don't have to pay the fees and they also got some money from the government to study.

Very much affordable and flexible.

I will be talking about my personal experience and fees structure in detail. Since I am a General category student, I don't get any other scholarship except MMVY if I got more than or equal to 85% in cbse and 75% or more in MP board, along with approximately under 1.5 lac jee mains rank ( For details you can search it on MMVY's website. If you can't avail for any scholarship then the yearly fees is around 17000 which is a very nominal fees. Hostel fees is 4800 yearly and bus fees is around 9000 yearly. As I have MMVY scholarship so I ojly had to pay 500 rupees at the time of registration in my first year and my hostel fees, that's it. If you come under other categories like SC/ST/OBC you can get scholarship if you full the criteria. Also if someone is from J&K then they can also get good scholarship. Overall I will say that college is very much affordable with the resources it provide.

There are the fees of 56000 for the general category and for the other category there is a option of scholarship for OBC and SC ST scholarship in the government scholarship and the form is filled by the college and there is a bank account for that scholarship which is opened by the college

Only thing which is good about this college is that it has affordable fees and lenient attendance

Tution fees is 22000/year scholarship available for sc/st and mp candidates from 36000 to 60000 Some people are paying 500 rs only for fees bus fees is 9600/year hostel fees is 4800/year You can get various scholarships here.

LNCT, a career maker

Fees of my college for Btech is approximately 60000 per semester. This is same for all 8 semesters. College doesn't charge other unnecessary fees for other facilities. All type of scholarships are available for students based on merit and their category. Scholarships like NSP, MPTAAS, etc. Girls have several other scholarships for them. There are no campus employment available.

The fees varies from student to student as I am a medhavi student as my jee rank was less than 1.5 lakh and my 12th cbse percentage was greater than 85% and my annual family income was less than 6 lakh so students with such qualifications can avail medhavi scholarship.Students coming from different different class can get different scholarships,as OBC student can avail OBC Scholarship similar goes with SC and ST student.PWD students have their own scholarship ,in such methods students can avail scholarship benefits.

Good and Worthy engineering college

The fee structure of college are like between the 22000 - 24000 per year for every branch like civil, mechanical, computer science, electrical. Scholarships are only for obc, sc, and st caste students. The amount of scholarship is like 27000/year .

The fees of the college are very low as it is a government college. There are several scholarships a student can avail of in the first year, one can apply for an ONGC scholarship from which he/she can avail of a scholarship of 196000, and another scholarship by Reliance group named Reliance Foundation Scholarship from which he/she can avail a scholarship of 200000 rupees after coming in the merit of top 5000 students all over India.
