MVGR Admission 2025

MVGR offers UG and PG courses in Engineering and Management with various specializations. B.Tech and M.Tech are the flagship courses at MVGR. The Institute offers admission based on Merit and entrance exams like AP EAPCET and APICET.

Likes

The teaching staff are very well experienced and very interactive with students.
The infrastructure of college is very pleasant.
There is a lot of interaction with seniors with whom you could learn more.

Dislikes

They won't balance studies with other activities.
Strict punishments for very silly activities.
There will be no student staff meetings for need discussions.

Placement scenario in college and packages being offered

Placements from our college are awarded from 3rd year itself based on CGPA and SGPA. There are many companies that visit our college and mostly HCL and Wipro companies employ us. The highest package till date is 22LPA and average package is 5LPA. Around 70% students from a class get placed based on their interview skills, knowledge and communication. I'm willing to do M.Tech as well after my B.Tech degree.

Internship opportunities in various organizations and projects available

There are companies like ediglobe... microsoft and windows which offer us the internships and stipend is rarely provided. The internships are 2 months of teaching and 1 month of practise. Mostly they are paid internships.

Various events and facilities available in the campus

There will be a freshers when you join the college conducted by 2nd years. Later there will be annual day function which is celebrated very grandly. There will be flashmobs for 3 to 4 months. The library of MVGR has vast variety of books which everyone can access it also has discussion room... project hall for accessibility. Sports are conducted often but you need to be in any sports club... Mostly cricket and volleyball are conducted.

Various fees associated with the course and fees waiver eligibility

I've entered the college by eamcet for CSE and been declared with the tuition fee of rs.74500 which will be common to everyone. Since I'm having reservation I've been awarded with fee reimbursement for the whole tuition fee. So for the 4 years I have to pay rs.298000. My friends who have admissioned by management has to pay nearly 2.4 lakhs per year which is 9.6 lakhs for the course completion. There will be a training and placement fee of rs.3000 and building fee of rs.4000 per year. If you want hostel...it comes for around 50000 to 70000 per year.

Course structure, its practical exposure and examination pattern

This college has a very experienced and student friendly lecturers for the CSE course. It also has huge labs for various programming languages which can be accessed anytime. Not only course subjects along with them other applications are also teached. Exams would be conducted after a half syllabus named mids and semester after completion of course.

Faculty reviews and exam patterns

We the 2023 batch have been provided with R23 exam regulation by JNTU which is very tough...it includes 2 marks 3 marks and 5 marks. Exams are decently conducted and cheating students are punished. Faculty of this college are friendly and knowledged.They guide us through career along with the course. Coming to passing of examinations it is atleast 5 students from a class who fail in 2 subjects.

Admission process and eligibility criteria

I've applied to RAGHU, GMRIT, GVP, Vignan along with the MVGR at the time of 1st counselling and I've got a free seat in vignan at first but that college is situated in a loophole and doesn't have a proper hostel that exactly looks like a dumpyard. Gmr is good but so far from my house And Raghu is average based on its teaching methods and my seniors perspection and hence I chose MVGR for my CSE course and I'm satisfied with it. As I'm admitted through eamcet I had to submit allocation letter along with my original certificates and after a week I've got my seat allocated.

I didn't have any options to opt for other colleges as this is the only college which is near to me. admission process is very simple there is no gd/pi for admission. you can join either through ap eamcet or management quota or ap - ecet for diploma students. cutoff is 15000 for cse general category.

Actually i was not interested to join this college, i have interest in computer science engineering,i got admissions in some universities but i got other groups so i quited that universities .But when i saw the friendly nature with peaceful environment in the college decided to confirm my admission . Admissions process is based on eapcet rank .on my first councelling i got my confirmed admission and some payment seats available . Yearly cutoffs are changing every year when i joined with my ranking category in admission year who have rank 45k they can get this college and present cutoffs will change

I have applied for AU, JNTU-GV, MVGR, & ANITS. I have heard that MVGR has good infrastructure structure and facilities. My friend suggested me the college. Didn't make it to other colleges as I haven't qualified for the colleges in the EAPCET. In MVGR, the accepted exam is AP EAPCET and is the only entrance examination accepted. Even for payment seat the student must atleast attempt the AP EAPCET.

MVGECE has autonomous status since 2015 and NAAC 'A' grade accredited. Compared to other colleges I applied to GMRIT is also reputed but farther away in Rajam with slightly less exposure to companies.
