About BUIT
The University Institute of Technology, (UIT) Barkatullah University, Bhopal (Formerly called Bhopal University) is a self-financing technical institute, established in August 1997, in memories of great freedom fighter, Prof. Barkatullah, who belonged to Bhopal. The University formerly known as Bhopal University was established in 1970 in the capital city of Madhya Pradesh.
- The Barkatullah University has made available 30 acres of land for the UIT campus, with the approval of the All India Council for Technical Education in concurrence with the Government of Madhya Pradesh.
- The University has also provided infrastructural facilities which include a new college building with a floor area of 4763 sq. meters and other facilities of the University such as the Sports & Games fields, Hostels, Guest House, and Cultural Hall.
- The institute is surrounded within its lush green campus along with the administrative wing, academic wing, workshop, research laboratories, sports ground, gymnasium, health centre, yoga centre, dispensary, hostel (boys and girls), bank etc.
- Banking and Post office facilities are also available on the University campus
- In 1974-75, the Institute of Open and Distance Education was established with the permission of UGC for distance education.
- There are postgraduate courses, certificate courses, diploma courses, M. Phil programmes, post-doctoral fellowship, etc.
- The university offers several innovative and job-oriented courses at the postgraduate level. Most of these courses are non-traditional and interdisciplinary

I applied in sgsit Indore and davv Indore and then buit bhopal and I got buit bhopal with it branch it is very good college.I didn't get rejection from the college First we have to apply in mpdte counselling then according to your it college were alloted and the u have to go college for admission process

- The collage management was so cheap . Officers not that well
Admission:
If you have completed 12th exam in pcm. You can get admission in this collage. After completing 12th you have to qualify JEE then you are eligible for this collage. After clear JEE you must be applying for MP DTE counselling process after that they will alloted the seat. There are reservation for categories wise not other than that.

- Offers very limited extracurricular activities.
- Infrastructure is not that good according to University level.
Admission:
I got admission after qualifying my JEE Mains. Admission requires a JEE score and a high score in your 12th-grade exams. For the CSE branch, you need a rank close to 3lakh and for the IT branch, a rank of around 350,000. The admission process is straightforward and not very tough if you meet the criteria.
Likes
- Our campus is gorgeous and is full of trees all over the university.
- Our staff is somewhat supportive to students who actually need their help.
Dislikes
- Placement opportunities are negligible here.
- Exams are always delayed even if it is a normal year.
Admission:
The admission process criteria is completely based on JEE score through mpdte counseling which doesn't even require a very good JEE score, the cutoff for general students for computer science and engineering lies near about 2.5 lakh rank.
Likes
- Our campus is absolutely gorgeous. Walking around is so refreshing especially in autumn and rainy season.
- Our course curriculum is good consisting of advanced subjects like machine learning and deep learning.
Dislikes
- Our college doesn't provide any placement opportunities.
- Faculty is so amateur. They don't even care about teaching students, let alone worrying about their grades.
Admission:
The admission process is completely based on JEE score, but you don't need a good rank to take admission here, you'll easily get admission with an average or below average rank. We've to submit counselling from mpdte website to get admission here.

- The campus is soothing and far more attractive than many government colleges.
- The curriculum is kind of easy, one can score decent score with just minimal studying.
Dislikes
- Everything in this college is disgrace. No proper orientation of new students nothing.
Admission:
I got Btech Cse in 70 percentile. Just do counselling from MPDTE and the admission process is smooth. The faculty helps you in a proper way if you have all the required documents. First semester fees is paid in the college during admission period. Caste based scholarships are also provided. Exams are uncertain and are easy to perform.

- You're given complete freedom if you've got an internship, CS staff ensures the attendance in such case.
- Our campus is so beautiful and full of greenery, if you go on a morning walk, you'll definitely encounter atleast one peacock.
Dislikes
- There are no placement opportunites in our college.
- We have to wear uniforms unlike the other better colleges, which looks even worse than most of the school uniforms.
Admission:
Admission process is not so tidious here, it is simply given on the basis f your JEE score. You need not to achieve very good JEE score to get admission here, for computer science, a student of nearly 3 lakh rank can easily get a seat which is definitely a below average score.

- I appreciate the efforts put by the faculties to teach the subject and willingness to complete the entire syllabus before the semester exam.
- I used to participate in various cultural activities like singing, dancing etc. and also engaged myself in social interactions by joining nearby NGO's.
Dislikes
- First thing which I didn't like was that almost all the faculties are guest faculty except few.
- Second thing is placement is not conducted regularly. and if it happens then very low package is provided.
Admission:
I got admission after JEE counseling in which I got this college in my second round of counseling. You can take admission in this college with your IIT JEE score , it is okay if you didn't qualify the cutoff. - Affordable fees and autonomous college .
Dislikes
- 75%attendance and poor canteen and the things are far from the college.
- Long roads and non availability for foods within 2km

They include academic performance in 10+2 or equivalent exams. Often with a focus on mathamatics and science subjects. Additionally, many colleges conduct entrance exams like JEE or state specific exams. But my college doesn't conduct exams or directly entrance like click round.
