Course Curriculum Overview

1

Tbh, I took CSE because of my rank and the saying it have ' it's the best branch '. If you want to achieve great things in your particular field then you can't depend on college. You have to do it by yourself, clg will not help you in that at all. College is not stressful as I have mentioned that you can get flexibility here. So passing the exams is an easy task if take it seriously. The best thing I will always say is that you can prepare for other things here, yourself study and development.

Internships Opportunities

2

Internship opportunities and not that good. You don't get much opportunities regarding internship here. You have to reach companies from yourself. College will not provide internship with stipends. And about project works, I don't know much about that but yeah you get your minor and major projects before graduation. Also if you want to work on some projects by yourself with your friends you can do it.

Placement Experience

3

Placement is ok ok here. But yeah this year 2024 there were many students who got placed with good packages. Around 10 students got placed with 12 lac/ annum and others also get many packages of 4 to 5 lac or 8 lac.

Fees and Financial Aid

I will be talking about my personal experience and fees structure in detail. Since I am a General category student, I don't get any other scholarship except MMVY if I got more than or equal to 85% in cbse and 75% or more in MP board, along with approximately under 1.5 lac jee mains rank ( For details you can search it on MMVY's website. If you can't avail for any scholarship then the yearly fees is around 17000 which is a very nominal fees. Hostel fees is 4800 yearly and bus fees is around 9000 yearly. As I have MMVY scholarship so I ojly had to pay 500 rupees at the time of registration in my first year and my hostel fees, that's it. If you come under other categories like SC/ST/OBC you can get scholarship if you full the criteria. Also if someone is from J&K then they can also get good scholarship. Overall I will say that college is very much affordable with the resources it provide.

Campus Life

2

Campus Life is not as per expectations. If you get a good friend circle then you can enjoy your college life better. There are many places in campus where you can spend time with your friends. Most of the clubs are non working. But some are really good like Infinity racers, NCC, NSS etc. This year our college organised a small fest named parvaah. It was a decent fest but it can be better if they want it to be. You can take books from Library for your exams or anything else. Technology is not much used in regular classes. This college is not that good in area of sports bcz no one cares about that here.

Hostel Facilities

3

Hostel is very much affordable. Washrooms are not clean that much but you'll get used to it. Room are of decent size for 2 students and you get your personal cupboard. Mess food is very bad you will never like it but yeah you can get tiffin services from outside college. They will deliver your tiffin to your hostel on daily basis. I would suggest that you should atleast take hostel in first year. If you don't get hostel then no problem there so many places where you can rent a room, flat or PG. The areas where most of the students rents near colleges are patanjali, karond, dwarkadham, lalghati, data colony etc.

Admission

See every jee aspirant wants to join IITs, NITs, IIITs but few gets select. I am one of those. I didn't got a god rank to reach those clgs but still I am ok with my clg bcz it's very affordable, flexible and you still need a good rank to reach here. Best thing of my clg is if you want to prepare for any competitive exams then you can do it here , bcz you can get plenty of time here for that.

Faculty

2

Some faculties are great and some are not which you can experience in most of the colleges. Exam system is like we have 3 mid sems or and then end sem in 1 semester. In first year we study every branch subject's basics so mostly we all branches have common subject and after it we focus on our branch or course subjects. Exams are not that difficult you can easily paas the exams if you study previous years and some important topics that's it. The faculty to student ratio is Good

Night Life

3

It's a tradition that every branch interaction takes place on pahadi. Means the small mountain connected to our college which is a nice place for friends to chill and all. Hostels are not that strict for boys you can roam around in whole campus and explore different places anytime expect in one hostel. Only Bhaskaracharya hostel have gym which is not that good. Also this hostel have time restrictions and all. And for girls hostel is very strict in case of timings and all.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester onwards. Companies visiting campus are mostly mass recruiters along with a few product-based and mid-level companies. Most students receive an average package of approximately 5-6 LPA, while higher packages are offered to only a few top performers. Few seniors, whom I know got packages of 8.5 LPA, 12 LPA, and 19 LPA also, so basically higher packages are also offered but their competition is high and only some of them can make it up to that. A good percentage of eligible students receive the placement offers, mainlt in IT and service-based roles, but competition remains there, so one needs to have serious preparation on his or her own. Arond 60%+ students got placed every year from on-campuses placements. The placement cell provides training sessions and interview sessions from the third year onwards. Overall, placements can be considered decent compared to other private colleges in the region. Basically, after completing my graduation, I plan to pursue good placement otherwise prepare further for civil services after understanding career growth, however, this is not my final decision but could make a final one before the completion of course.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The manit curriculum for mechanical is quite strong in basics and was a major reason i chose this course .It covers core maths ,mechanics ,physics ,electrical and wrskhopa ,which helps for higher studies and exams .Exams are frequent with midsems ,quizzes and endsems;sometimes the schedule feels packed, but it keeps us regular with the syllabus.Difficulty is moderate if you attend classes and practice .Still , some subjects feel outdated and there should be more software , projects and insustry oriented content.

Placement record is decent, campus drives happens regularly. If no campus placement is offered then it's obvious one has to struggle a bit more to get a decent job but I beleive the college makes the students capable enough to crack the campus placement if a person really is capable then their is no lack of resources from the college. Even if there is no in campus placement I think everyone has a plan B.
