The review of an honest student

Likes

The campus is very large it is of about 250 acres which is a lot.
The faculties are very good and supportive they help you in every way possible.
The crowd here is good. You can have a great discussion about anything with those talented students.

Dislikes

The area is large but is not well maintained.
They should clean the college campus once every week.
You need to walk a lot in this campus like 1-2 km daily.

Admission:

I choose this college cause firstly it is a government college so it has its own good reputation. The fees here is very much less compared to other private colleges. And placement opportunities are better here

Political interference in many things like staff deployment
Location is very out of the town and near to mountains
More than 200 colleges are running under RGPV flag which is confusing

I had chosen this college because of its reputation and nationwide acceptance. The admission process is very simple. It starts with entrance exam and you need to score well. After the entrance result, there will be a counseling process followed by very simple admission and enrollment procedure.

Likes

Faculties are well educated and well trained. Their teaching skills are really good and all the faculties are PhD in their respective subjects.
Crowd of the college is really good as students get admission here through JEE and a healthy competition can be seen within students.
Infrastructure of college is really nice. Various departments are there including management, Pharmaceutical , Nanotechnology etc. Central library is very good for studies and books on diverse subjects are available in the library.

Dislikes

The timings of college is from 10am to 5.30 pm which i find a bit difficult beacuse my home is far away from college.

Admission:

Admission process is really simple. After choice filling on DTE website you will get this college then you have ro report ro the college by provided date and time. Students acn enjoy their college lives more compared to other colleges. The campus is very beautiful as there is so much greenery here.

My college campus is too big and there are seperate department's buildings.
You can get many books in college's liberary either for you syllabus or extra curriculam.
Faculties are too good and supportive and educated. They will help you every time.

Dislikes

Book issuing time of liberary is after 2 pm.
Canteen of my college is closed till now. But it may be open soon.
No proper management is there for cleaning.

Admission:

The admission process is on the basis of hee mains rank. Category reservation is also applicable. I choosed this college due to my low rank but the college have good facilities. Labs may not be proper for some departments.

There are very few things which I can say I like one is it is a government college.
You don't have to go college daily as teachers itself don't force you ti come.
No pressure of assignment and projects they can be done easily.

Dislikes

Teacher itself don't know what they are teaching.
The hod and the senior teacher pressurized us to do other work also.
There is no proper canteen in the campus.

Admission:

I have given a jee exam and I fill mp councelling, I didn't get sgsits or davv or I opt for this as it is government college of Bhopal but it is one of my worst decision of my life instead of this I should go in private college. At that time I thought government college will be good as fees is also much less but after I went there I realise it is a bad decision.

UIT RGPV: College Where You Get Friendly Environment

Likes

The college campus is nearby airport and railway station so traveling is easy.
Campus has a central library which has more than one lakh books.
College has a knowledge resource center which provide startup support.

Dislikes

The college canteen and mess are not so good, they are not clean, not well maintained.
The auditorium is also small, that has only capacity of something 200 to 250 students.
college staff are not dedicated to there respective work.

Admission:

The campus is too big in comparision to other colleges that is 250 acres of area. No I didn't got any rejection because I applied through counsling. The admission process are happend in two steps one is lateral entry and another one by JEE examination through counsling. The cutoff is minimum between 70k to 1lakh range.

This college was my first priority. i choose this college because of high Placement number and the infrastructure of the college connected with the city giving lots of exposure to the students. I haven't faced any rejection from the college because i had only applied for this college specifically. The admission process is very easy and simple you just need to participate in the MP DTE councelling which need your jee mains score card. The last process of admission after this is College level councilling.

A good college according to the price

Likes

60% attendance policy is very good thing
Professors are not to strict they are chill usually
Seniors are very supportive in every field from co curricular to academics

Dislikes

Infrastructure is very bad like they are kinda Mughal-e-Azam types
Bus facility is not upto the mark they come late sometimes they drop in middle of no where and u have to use bus for reach to college
Like professor expect from students each and every detail of course but that are not even teaching properly like they are getting salary they come chi chat sometimes and go

Admission:

Simple i chose this college because it was cheaper to others I was firstly thinking of iet davv but then I thought it's fees is higher and then cost of living in Indore and all so roi is not good . Where as uit rgpv for 35000 you are getting government University degree what you need in this for e.g; lnct private college takes 1.5lakh and gives u same kinda value of degree . Through mp State counseling you can get this college easily like very easily i have seen people with 20% ile in jee main in this college too.

I like the campus life of college as our campus is big and very good
The social life and interaction with people is very good which makes good network with people
The infrastructure of college is also good as good campus amenities is provided

Dislikes

I dislike some facilities behaviour towards students as they do partiality with students
No sport activities held in college as no sports event were organised
There is no intership opportunities is provided by the institution and no any guidance, if students want to do internship they have to find it by themselves

What is the cutoff for OBC in the UIT RGPV?

The cut-off can’t be said for sure but it can however be related slightly. Previous year students with minimum JEE Main score of 150 were only allowed. The cut-off percentage for MPBSE was near about 93 to 95%.

For CSE the closing rank for the student from the home state was around 60,000 and those belonging outside were around 85,000. This can lead to either selection in the CSE branch or the Mechanical branch.

For EEE, the minimum AIR for students from the home state and outside the home state was around 1, 00,000.

Changes can be seen from the next year because board percentage criteria will be removed for calculating the AIR which in turn will affect the counseling which is an integral part of the admission process.
