Being admitted to VJTI college was a plus point for me, as it has one of the best faculty members who guide you in the best possible way.
It was a good learning experience to have an industry internship. For the internship, the placement rate was almost 100% at that time. The stipend was 15000/- per month.

Dislikes

Worst (some say, because of COVID-19), some companies come, and some students are placed, but mostly unsatisfactory.
The gender ratio is not good. The gender ratio is 10:2. There are fewer girls in the mechanical and computer branches.

The college gives a huge exposure as the college conducts session, festivals, competition, hackthons so that students can represent their skills
The college faculties are very supportive ,and kind which understand the students problems and teach accordingly .

Placement Experience:

Our College is well known for its placements, it provides a placements to almost all the students of all branches like CS,IT,Mechanical, etc Not only placement but our colleges also provides internship opportunity to our students where the students get a handson working experience in the industry before the placements itself.The Internship seasons starts from the beginning of the Third Year and the Placement seasons starts from the beginning of the 4th Year.Recently in 2023-2024 almost 18-20 differents companies have visited our campus for hiring .The companies are BNY MELLON, MONDELEZ ,FRACTAL ,UBS , BANK OF AMERICA, NPCI, HILTI, CITI BANK and many other companies, The highest package in of this year of giving to a student of CS of 60Lakhs ,not only these but our college students have also cracked companies like MICROSOFT ,AMAZON where recently 2 girls are selected for internship in Amazon and Microsoft,The percentage of students get hired is about 90%

The opportunities are amazing and you get to learn a lot.
All amenities are available in the campus.

Dislikes

The infrastructure could be better maintained.
The academics should be more strict although it is fine now as well.

Best college in maharashtra

Likes

The class hostel and food was amazing , they provide safety of student which cant affect to health.
Medical arrangment is also amazing ......

I dislike the guard who was too rude with girls

Placement Experience:

There is a high chance to get the high package in that college. Many companies came across through it and provided many job opportunities which are liable to us. girls also get jobs with good placement as per the merit list.

THE BEST BUT AT THE SAME TIME BAD

College name is valuable in the city for jobs. Then internship and part time job offers were there. Students with great mind sets.
Faculty was good but not as expected. Mostly all courses are offered here .

Dislikes

Overall infrastructure is not good . Diploma classroom are like caves.
Time management was not at all present. Literally they don't even think of students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I decided to take this course as I was interested in electronics components. In class, there were 75 students in total. There were 5 subjects in every sem. For each subject, there were different faculty. Their teaching method was simple according to the portion. But in exams, they ask logical questions more. Each faculty were having either a master's degree or a Ph.D. in it. In each sem, there were 2 exams mid-sem exams and end-sem exams. Each sem was of 6 months. The difficulty to pass the exams was not that hard but there were students about 25 students who failed.

some interesting things about VJTI

Likes

placemat's are excellent, all the top companies are came here.
Students clubs are good, very supportive. you can all the things from them.

Dislikes

Infrastructure are too bad, needs major improvemts.
hostel facility is available for all students, rent for PG in Mumbai is too high.

Placement Experience:

VJTI's most highlighting point is the placements. you can be eligible for placements from your 4th year means the 7th semester, you can also apply for internships for the 3rd semester. all the top companies like Amazon, Apple, Google, Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, Deshaw, etc came here. our highest package is 68LPA and the average package is 8.5LPA. All the students get placed in the college, some can prepare for tech placements from core backgrounds. I have to work on my own start-up after completing my degree, before that during the college period for work experience I am doing internships.

Campus Life - the best one amongst all my friends colleges. Very big celebrities have performed at VJTI
Placements - This also is the best in any govt Maharashtra college by far.

Dislikes

Poor looks - You can't judge a book by it's cover tho
Hostel Infrastructure - it's little too old.

Placement Experience:

Best placements in Maharashtra are offered at VJTI ( second to IITB ofc). We become eligible for campus internships in the 5th sem and for campus placements, in the 7th sem. Most people get a Pre-placement offer directly after their internships. Specifically speaking of CS and IT, all 100% are placed this year. The rest of the placements are still going on, with an overall 80% already placed.

The placements are very good for Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute, East. Students are eligible for internships from Third Year and you might get Pre Placement offer depending on how you perform in the company. A lot of companies visit the campus for placement and the offers can be anywhere from 62 LPA to 5 LPA.

The percentage of students who are placed in our college is almost 100%. We will get offers from service-based and as well as product-based companies from our college. My seniors were even placed in a good company with package 20 LPA.
