- Industries have set up their own labs and many guest professor's and industry professionals are invited to make us learn in those labs.
- Beautiful campus and some old heritage architect to announce that we are one of the oldest engineering institutes of the country.

- There is still no Wi-Fi available for students.
Course Curriculum Overview
Education is what University prescribes but our college has added a lot of things on its own and has made it a hard nut. One area where I think college can make some changes is timings of practicals as they mostly get over by 5.30 and in Mumbai catching train back home at that time means climbing Everest.
Placement Experience
Without entering the penultimate semester students can't sit for campus placements. Colleges placement cell takes care that everyone gets a fair shot at it and that maximum students are placed through campus. It takes time but most students with an average package of 10 LPA are comfortable placed from VJTI.
Fees and Financial Aid
Since it's a government institution the fees is quite less in comparison to that of private engineering colleges lik Somaiya and others. 85 thousand is so damn cheap considering we have placements which are only second to IITs. Yes, for students who comes from lower caste do get a lot of fees waiver like almost 30-50% on the tuition fees is discounted from their fees.
Campus Life
The main fest of VJTI where celebs are invited us Pratibimb. From freshers to almost every festival be it Janmashtami or Ganesh Chaturthi everything is celebrated at the campus. So one get to feel that he/she is a part of celebration. Mumbai has produced a lot of sports stars and VJTI sports facilities are at par with top domestic facilities available at NCA.
Admission
Why would anyone in Mumbai will apply for any other college when VJTI which is top prefence college through CET is there. Yes, IITs are everyone's dream but beyond that I even got a birth in NIT of my choice but leaving Mumbai was definitely not worth anything. Hence, as soon as CET result was i out and I saw that my score is eligible. I was out on cloud 9 as i was certain that I will become an engineer to reckon with.
Faculty
Faculties of our branch are one of the hardest born creatures of the planet. A hard cookie to digest as they are hard working and pass on the same things to us. Things are thrown to us as if we are machines but that's only to make us competent for the current work environment that is going on.
