Likes

The placement rate here is around 90% and that's more than most of the colleges in our country.
Not many colleges in Mumbai have hostels but our college have both boys and girls hostels.
College may be old but infrastructure is still equipped with all the latest amenities.

Dislikes

Despite being one of the top college in Maharashtra, the college doesn't have enough permanent faculties.

My brother did Electronics and Telecommunication and I always look up to him as he is doing so well in his life. Hence, i also decided to pursue this though my personal choice was computer science and engineering. Too many extra subjects like in engineering too we are asked to learn a language and it was honestly a burden more than anything else.

Class Size: 82Course Fees: INR 85000 per year

Placement Experience

From Wells Fargo, to Ericsson India to Schneider Electric these are some of the top companies that hires students of our branch. Almost 90% or even more students are placed every year. Hence, placements here are out of question as placements are just too good to be true. Students of our branch has got offer letter of 30-35 Lakhs per Annum.

Fees and Financial Aid

Including tuition fees and the miscellaneous charges the fees per semester is 42500, so yearly it becomes 85000. Nearly half of my class has students from SC/ST and OBC category and they get scholarships worth 30&40% respectively.

Campus Life

I will begin with Ganeshoutsav as that's major festival celebrated at the campus. Besides that many colleges fests and Pratibimba being the most prominent fest among all. For sports lovers we have a sports fest called Enthu and therefore everyone gets something or the else to perform.

Admission

COEP Pune was also one of my choices as my brother studied from there but VJIT commands more score and accepts better ranked CET candidates. So, I chose VJTI as my rank was good and I was getting my desired branch too.

Faculty

Sone of the faculties are just wow as they make studies so interesting. To be fair engineering studies can be tough at times but our faculties have ensured that we don't find it tough. Most of them are of so polite nature that one can't help but to applaud for them.

An Honest Review

Placement Experience:

The Campus placement of VNIT Nagpur is good enough. Students of 7th and 8th semesters are elegible for campus placement. Many companies visited in the campus some prominent names were google, Microsoft, amazon, Goldman Sachs, and many core companies such as bajaj, HPCL,BPCL etc. the number of offers made was 760 in 2024 and placement percentage was around 80 percent.

Placement Experience:

The placements in my college are pretty good considering the Fact that mostly its the Top 2000-3000 students from Maharashtra that make it to this college. The average Package offered in the college is Around 11LPA while the highest package last year was around 48LPA. The names of the Top companies that have recruited students from my college include Adobe, Amazon and Mastercard. The placement percentage from the past few years has been above 90%. My plans after getting the Degree is either to continue my Cricket Career as a Proffesional or to become a Commercial Pilot.

My College Life Experience

I Actually don't applied for any other college my preference from first was VJTI only however I do add SPIT on my 2nd preference I don't get rejected I just choose VJTI because it has a great background than any other college also it's location is quite good to get admission students must give an exam name mht cet which is Maharashtra state common entrance test through which they get admission in my course and many other once result is out the admission has to be done through cap round cutoff for my course is between 95-99%+ile depends on various factors like reservation and etc etc overall admission process takes some days but it is worthy...Read More

Detailed and Honest Review of VJTI - One of The Oldest Engineering Colleges in India.

Talking about other colleges I applied for, I registered for JOSAA and CSAB both. Through JOSAA I got the IIT Dharwad, since I got the BS plus MS programm there I regestered for CSAB, through CSAB I secured seat into iiit Bhopal cse. Because it is a newly established iiit, it does have poor facilities. Then through CAP counselling I got seat at VJTI. Then Ieft iiit Bhopal and joined VJTI. Today I think that, the decision taken by me was absolutely right. Apart from this I also applied for IIST Thiruvananthpuram but due to my 12th board score I could not make it. VJTI makes you tough!!

Why would anyone in Mumbai will apply for any other college when VJTI which is top prefence college through CET is there. Yes, IITs are everyone's dream but beyond that I even got a birth in NIT of my choice but leaving Mumbai was definitely not worth anything.
