FR. C. Rodrigues Institute of Technology (FCRIT), Navi Mumbai was established in 1994 in the heart of Navi Mumbai, Vashi, as a part of Agnel Technical Education Complex. FCRIT is affiliated to the Mumbai University and offers five undergraduate engineering programs (Computer, Mechanical, Electronics & Telecommunication, Electrical, and Information Technology) and two postgraduate engineering programs (Mechanical and Electrical Engineering). - Library: FCRIT have a state-of-the-art collection of print as well as non-print resources that includes: books over 33,000 Volumes, 132 National and International Journals, 1273 Bound Volumes of Journals along with Non-Print media CD-ROMs, DVDs, Floppies, Conferences & Seminars proceedings, Synopsis and Project Reports.
- Sports Facilities: The Institute provides indoor game facilities for carrom, chess etc. It also has grounds for cricket, basketball, football etc for students. It has an indoor swimming pool, horse riding facilities, gym etc.
- Bank and ATM: The Institute further provides banking facilities and ATM within the premises for the use of students. The entire campus is equipped with CCTV surveillance cameras.
- Laboratories: The Institute provides various laboratories for each department of Engineering and Technology. These labs are fully equipped with modern instruments and layouts.

- It's travel friendly means you have very much travel option available from which you can reach college

- They have prayer in the morning to which we have to present if not then they make us wait for 15 min I don't like this it feels like school
- Once I taken book from library and forget to return it and return after 5 days they have policy that u have to renew book after every week if u have taken otherwise u will have to pay fine , for this I have exams and forget to renew they charged fine

In my case i have done diploma and taken admission as direct second year so at my time corona was going on so we have given exam online so cutoff was slightly high ,at my time for direct second year cutoff was 90.25 percentage.but I have checked when offline exam were done so cutoff was 87 percentage

- College Infrastructure. It's really good. Benches are good. Sitting space is good. Class size is medium compared to other clgs who have 120 sitting in a classroom.
- Technical Clubs. They are really good if you find yourself a place to join
Dislikes
- Strictness. College feels more like a school
- Events. The events organised by clg are compulsory to attend since they are bad except for dj night which is good compared to other events
Admission:
The entrance exam to get this clg is MHTCET and it also has institute level exam. It is a minority college for Christians so almost 60% seats of Computer and IT areas filled by them. Comps and IT cutoff gets around 96%ile to 92%ile whereas EXTC cutoff goes around 84%ile.

- Canteen food is really bad , for out station students it is very disappointing & not at all edible at least for vegetarian people we don’t have any options neither in college nor outside

Admission is offered by Centralised process , and 20% by institute level quota, it's a Christian minority college, eligibility is standard eligibility rule of hon'ble supreme court for engineering admissions & obtained a non zero score in common entrance (MHT-CET / JEE MAIN),

The admission process was very smooth with proper coordination from the cllg staff and support. Cut off being on the upper level helped in creating an environment where students of high knowledge were accumulated.

- All the teacher staff is so cooperative in our college helps in every thing.

The MHT-CET cut-off for computer department was 97 percentile. The institute round forms are available on the college website, application fee for the same is around 1500 INR. There are certain reservation benefits, but I cannot avail any so I don't have any information regarding the same. Overall the admission process is genuinely nice.

I am a Direct Second-year student, and the eligibility of the course is either you should score above 90.00 percent in a diploma or you should have 85.00 and above if you come under a religious Minority. Getting this in college is difficult but if you have a good percentage you can easily crack this opportunity.
