faculty to student ratio is good and the faulty is well educated. they are mostly all phds with a few in the process of getting their phd.
faculty to student relationship depends on the branch. electronics and computer science branch is known to have a very tough faculty. whereas other branches have more leniant faculties with better student to faculty relationships
there is an ise1, ise2, mse and ese for each subject. some subjects thought are practical based and have only practical exam 1 and 2. the ise1 and ise2 is of 20 marks, mse is of 30 and ese is of 100 marks which then gets reduced to 30. passing marks is 40 out of 100.
The college has mostly local people and marsthi speaking people atleast in my branch. There are majorly Malayalam people in comps department. The staffs and favukties are marathis mostly and christians.

The faculties are good but only a few of them, 60% of them just come and read out the ppts on the projector.
Faculty:
The 1st year faculties are really weird. Some are really nice but some have too bad behavior towards students. After 2nd yr the faculties are comparatively good towards students. They help us but some have too useless demands. In a project if u ask them for help instead of finding a solution theyll make u do donkey work for documentation and other things rather than actual helping you in that thing. Rakhi maam, Snehal maam, swapna maam, Nancy maam etc are some good teachers from First year. 2nd year in mechanical specially Amit sir, aqleem sir, Nilesh sir etc are the best in my perspective. They have a good teaching skill with good knowledge and also a good behaviour towards the students. They dont pressurize or bore the students. They help and have a good interaction skills with us. There are majorly only mid sem and end sem now after the autonomy of the college. And multiple internal assessments during the lectures which are considered for evaluation in the cgpa. Only a few fail in this usually during the MU phase 30% students use to fail but after autonomy the failing criteria is eased.
The faculties here actually teach very well and u don't hv to go to external tutions... Many ppl get 10 cgpa just by studying from cllg faculties
Cllg is good in terms of syllabus and is very strict in terms of discipline.... They hv very good faculties for every subject.
Faculty:
Faculties are excellent.... U don't hv to watch any vids from YT or don't hv to go to tution.... U can easily get 9.5+cgpa even if u attend all lectures... Exam system is best.... There r three aspects. Total marks 100...Mid sem (30 marks) CIA or continuous internal assessment (20 marks) and end sem (50 marks)... Out of all these three u hv to get 40 marks atleast to pass which is very easy... This system is actually i feel the best in whole mumbai as the failing amount of students after the cllg has become autonomous is almost negligible.
They are really great and helpful towards the students in any sort of problem they help us.
They are trying implementing new things in college the teaching faculty also make things innovative for us to teach with various interesting subjects.
The teaching methods are not very old school but technical. Teachers often seems to connect students personally rather than just teaching.
Faculty:
There's no Doubt that this college has one of the best faculty for your education. For even FE student they have appointed one phD teacher for each subject .
Teachers are not doing there jobs but they are are interactive with students.
For Engineering Mathematics - 3 Faculty are appointed out of which 2 are phD holder
Engineering physics - 2 Faculty out of which 1 is phD holder
Engineering chemistry - 2 faculty out of which 1 is phD holder
Engineering mechanics - 3 faculty
Basic electrical Engineering - 2 faculty
C programming - 4 faculty
1. Faculty including teaching and non teaching staffs are experienced in industry and in teaching as well, some are very strict some are friendly, and supportive and helpful.
2. Professor are pass-out from IITs, PhD holders, some are industrialists with good knowledge.
Faculties are very much graduate and every teacher has completed their Masters, they teach us on projector with ppt and every week we have quiz on what they taught to us also we have a practice test also before our unit test
In the electronics and telecommunication department half of the profs are mtech graduated from iits while other halfs are phds. Recently 2_3 new profs have been hired which are younger compared to experienced faculty .
Faculty members in ECS department are actually helpful & qualified so no issues about that, also most of them are permanent faculty members so consistency is maintained. Most of them are doctorate or pursuing,
There are ample amount of teaching staff which are ready to support students in development. Faculties approach towards teaching and mentorship is to make students more self dependent and reliable thus making them develop themselves..
Approaching teachers and stuff is not a hassle with them being readily available.
