Course Curriculum Overview

1. From this year college have become autonomous and permanently affiliated with Mumbai University. 2. College have fully equipped laboratories which helps to prepare ourselves for industry. 3. Theory teaching is done with the help of projectors present in each class and numerical are taught on green board. 4. In exams college is very strict.

Internships Opportunities

College provides internship opportunities and also provide support for internship from outside, one can register for internship permission on college website, mostly companies don't provide stipend, companies such as Rashtriya chemical fertilizers, technip visits for internship.

Placement Experience

Students from 7th semester become eligible for placements. Around 90-95% placement registered students get placed every year. Highest package a student got is 22.5 lpa I have opted for placement. Companies such as godrej, L&T, Wipro, technip, tcs, nerolac, quality international visits for placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

1. Total fees of college is around 1.5 lakh. 2. If the student is from general or OBC category with annual income less than 8lakhs, he can apply for the scholarship, 50% tution fees will be waved off. 3. Girl students have 100% tution fees off facilities. 4. SC, St student also have 100% fees wave off.

Campus Life

There are many clubs including technical, cultural clubs, student chapters for organizations such as SAE, IEI, IIW etc. Technical clubs such as aero clubs, baha club (buggy racing) etc. Cultural clubs includes singing, debate, dance, and eco club.

Admission

There are three methods for admission 1. From first year admission based on cet score. 2. Direct second year admission through cap round after diploma in engineering 3. And last one Is offline admission (donation)

1. Faculty including teaching and non teaching staffs are experienced in industry and in teaching as well, some are very strict some are friendly, and supportive and helpful. 2. Professor are pass-out from IITs, PhD holders, some are industrialists with good knowledge.

The Overall experience of an average student

Placement Experience:

7th semester or 4th year makes you eligible for internships and placements. NVIDIA visits our college often i don't know much about the placements as im only in first year but yes the eligibility for the placement is over CGPA which eliminates a lot of students during the placements nearly ~75% of the students get placed (including off and in campus) the other 20% pursue higher studies the other 5% go for start ups

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum of the college is as same as any other colleges. College does follow traditional approach but college does conduct various programs like AICTE idea lab course in curriculum. Teaching method in college needs to evolve and college needs to encourage the coding and development culture. And as for exam, for every subject exam iseasy to moderate level but for selective subject (depends on faculty) exam level is difficult.

Bookworms are welcome, engineers are not

The eligibility was cet and jee marks based only. The last round cutoff for this college in mechanical was around 80%ile in mhtcet. But it was higher than 95%ile in comps for general. The admission process was easy just bring a cheque and fill up few forms and give documents and done. I had choosen many other colleges over this i even got accepted in mit wpu and talen admission but i am a local mumbai person and i woshed to stay here so i gave up that admission. I also didnt get admission in the crce bandra due to only a small difference in the cutoff. And i had no idea about the ACAP rounds. I understood about acap and tried taking admission in vesit chembur in robotics but idk i changed my mind and stayed in fcrit because i thought i dont like coding at all and thus staying in core mechanical would help me sustain my engineering life....Read More
