Course Curriculum Overview
Entc has good curriculum . One might find the subjects hard but before choosing it as career kindly go through the subjects syllabus as it differs person to person. Any graduate level subject is not going to be easy. Keep that in mind
Placement Experience
Campus placement offered is good for courses surrounding IT domain. Computer and IT department get an average CTC of 10 lpa whereas ENTC dept has avg CTC of 6-7 lpa. The college will state 100% placement but it is applicable only for eligible candidates.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees here is approx 150000 per year. Financial assistance is not provided by the college. You can fill the fee in two parts. Although prof provide scholarship details if they find any. The on campus employment is good as it is one of the best clgs in Mumbai University
Campus Life
There are various technical and non-technical clubs to join. I find tech clubs very good to join to gain knowledge . Non technical Clubs of FCRIt do not fascinate me very much as college fests range for 3 days which I do not find very interesting as it is full of rules and regulations
Admission
The entrance exam to get this clg is MHTCET and it also has institute level exam. It is a minority college for Christians so almost 60% seats of Computer and IT areas filled by them. Comps and IT cutoff gets around 96%ile to 92%ile whereas EXTC cutoff goes around 84%ile.
Faculty
In the electronics and telecommunication department half of the profs are mtech graduated from iits while other halfs are phds. Recently 2_3 new profs have been hired which are younger compared to experienced faculty .
