Remarks
Positive - Good environment, good faculty, systematic procedure of teaching and prelims are as per the Mumbai University rules and syllabus. Negative - The number of assignments are more compared to other engineering colleges and as marks of these assignments are included in final CGPA, one cannot ignore them.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is exactly and strictly as per the Mumbai University syllabus so as to prepare students for University exams. Along with that, there are unit tests and prelims for practice of student.
Placement Experience
The placements and job opportunities are also good because almost everyone who desired to get placed and didn't want to go for higher studies got placed with a decent package. College does not provide internship.
College Events
The events celebrated in the college are a Fun Fest in odd semesters and a Tech Fest in even semesters which includes inter college competitions also. Apart from them, there are many social events that take place via NGOs.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is 1lakh every year for a student from the open category. It will keep on decreasing depending on the caste of the student. If the fee is feasible or expensive would depend upon the annual income of his/her parents.
Fees and Financial Aid
I have neither availed a scholarship nor loan so cannot say anything regarding this. But there is a scholarship program as my classmate had received some amount due to the scholarship but i do not know detail.
Campus Life
There are atleast 5-6 huge labs for every department of engineering in the college with all labs having a lab assistant and can accomodate upto 50 students at a time. There is a college team for every sport.
Hostel Facilities
I have not opted for hostel but have been to the hostel a couple of times. The facility is good and the food is from the common and only canteen the college has which is also nice. Hygiene is taken great care of.
Alumni/Alumna
There is an Alumni meet held once every year in the college where all the ex students can meet the current students and interact and share their experiences. Also, seniors do help a lot regarding how to prepare for exams etc
Admission
There are 2 ways to get admission - by online forms ( the 3 lists ) via merit or through management ( offline form ) for which there are seats reserved. Management seat might require donation of a certain amount to be paid.
Faculty
The faculty is good and in every department there are atleast 5 teachers out of total 15 who possess a PHD. There are many teachers with almost 18-22 years of teaching experience which helps the student.
