Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is best and up to date with the chemical engineering field. Mostly it is application based which prepares you from a practical point of view. That's why ICT is known as the best college for chemical engineering.
Internships Opportunities
Students need to complete a 3 month internship after the 3rd year. The institute provides internship opportunities to all the students very good. Apart from that, there are various research internships available in the institute as well.
Placement Experience
Almost half of the students take placements while the other half go for higher studies. In terms of those who apply for placement, ICT has a record of providing 100% placement at least for the chemical engineering students.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are various scholarships available for students. The alumni association provides interest-free education loans for needy students. There are no hidden fees once you pay the academic fee. all the process is transparent.
Campus Life
ICT has various clubs such as Tedx, Ecell, tinkering lab, sports club etc. various fests take place throughout the year in ICT mainly starting from December and ending in March. The major fests are Vortex:asias largest chemfest And manzar (cultural fest)
Hostel Facilities
The hostel is in the college campus itself which makes it very convenient for the students. The hostel facility is very good. The price is very affordable considering the cost of living in Mumbai. The hostel fee is around 36 thousand rupees per year.
Admission
I didn't choose any other colleges. I knew I wanted to do chemical engineering and I also knew that ICT is the best institute to do it from. I gave the MHT-CET entrance exam and the admission process was based purely on the score in that examination.
Faculty
The faculty at the college is very well versed in their respective fields of expertise. The exams are pretty easy to pass provided you attend all the lectures and pay attention in class. There also many group projects through which you can obtain marks
Night Life
The campus is pretty small. The library closes at 8 pm. Girls hostel has a intime of 10 pm while there is no such restrictions on boys hostel. There are 2 canteens in the campus where you can hangout.
