ICT Mumbai : A great college

Likes

Well Equipped labs for undergraduate as well as postgraduate research as
Pretty much greenery around the campus .
Excellent professors and support staff .

Dislikes

Very small campus as compared to other colleges (only 16 acres)
There is no large playground to play cricket

Almost half of the students take placements while the other half go for higher studies. In terms of those who apply for placement, ICT has a record of providing 100% placement at least for the chemical engineering students.

Research facilites and research culture is promoted in our Institute
Teaching methods and professor are very versed with their knowledge . All our class room include projectors and mike speakers
Professors have very good industrial relation we help us gaining proper industrial knowledge through them

Dislikes

Cricket ground is not available we only turf for football

For 7th Semester our placement season starts. All the leading chemical and textile industry visits campus for hiring. College has 100% placement guarantee. Every year all the students opting for jobs get jobs. Some students apply for higher studies

The college labs the professor are very cooperative and helpful to the students very knowledgeable as well

Dislikes

Campus not maintained properly, as the Greenery is a bit too much and lot of debris around campus
Too many exams, in a week atleast 3 or 4 exams and no holidays between mid sem and end sem examinations

Campus placement is there in the college many MNC companies such as reliance godrej, gharda chemicals, vvf etc come to the college to take students from various courses and direct placement at a good level position

Likes

Faculty, all are phds and seniors are friendly
Green campus and like classes. Well cleaned
All staffs are friendly and supportive

Dislikes

Peers group are very bad in some branches
Management done by seniors are very disgusting
No proper space is managed inside campus

Placement is decent in terms of chemical branches here. The big company comes for placement like Asian paints. The college's average package is 8 LPA and internships are also provided by the college and paid internships are provided to some branches.

A college worth considering

Likes

It has really good professors in college
Fees in Institute of chemical technology is less
Alumni culture is really strong at Institute of chemical technology

Dislikes

Hostel accommodation can be improved a lot
Mess food can be served much better to us
Few faculties are very narrow minded here

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are satisfactory. The average package is around 10 LPA. Many top companies come here to take students like reliance, godrej, SAIL, UPL, Honeywell, Croda, Goldman Sachs, tata, and Asian paints.

An Insightful Review of My College Experience: Academics Campus Life, Placements, and Beyond

Placement Experience:

I haven't personally experienced the placement scenario yet, but from what I've heard from my seniors, companies start coming to the campus in the 7th semester. Companies such as Deloitte, Aarti Industries, Reliance, Gharda Chemicals, IOC, Aditya Birla, etc. visit the campus. The highest package offered is around 17 lakhs, and the average is 10 lakhs per annum. For chemical engineering, the placement rate is 100%. I plan to take a job offer from here after completing my degree.

Placement Experience:

Almost 70 -80% of students plan to go to higher studies and other students get placement. placement is good in college but not that much avg placement is 8lakh. placement varies accordingly to branch. polymer engineering and chemical engineering get very good placement opportunities. Companies visited in college:- exon Mobi, BSF, Asian paint, Trident, dyester and other.

ICT - My dream College

Placement Experience:

Placements are good in ICT . From 3rd or 4th year you have to give name for campus placement to the placement coordinator of ICT , if you want to sit placement otherwise not .As of 2021 Average package of my branch is 7 lack per annum . Many well know companies like Reliance, Tata chemicals , BASF , BPCL , HPCL , ONGC , Dr Reddy's laboratories , Asian paints , Ambuja cement etc have been recruited our students .
