Great placements given by the college as well as great job opportunities
Sports and extracurricular activities are wonderful over here, everyone enjoys living in the campus since the campus includes everything,seprate library,sports ground,clubs and portals are also being run over here
Tuition fees is very cheap compare to lower colleges since it is a government college which provides best education as well as best facilities to the students, scholarships are also given in great amount

Dislikes

If you looking to accomodate in college hostel then be aware of the fact that college mess is very bad.
Academics of this college is not good, studnet have to study by there own. Many teachers are not good at teaching.
hostel facilities are not that good, no good hostels.

VJTI For the Less knowers

Likes

Everyone here is a topper and knowledgeable in different fields.The students here are very smart and they engage and make various projects and organize events in various domains.The seniors are also very helpful and there is no ragging.
The professors and HOD's are very experienced and focus on logic building rather than rote learning.
Compared to the level of exposure and the type of studious environment the fees are very affordable.

Dislikes

Some of the labs wi-fi is very slow ant can't manage high speed to many students at a time.
The college is autonomous but still there are unrelated subjects like mechanics,iks,bioscience for first year students.
Attendance system is poor.most of the students succesfully mark attendance by their friends without attending classes.

Placement Experience:

Mostly all students are applicable for internships and ppo's in 4th year of the course after passing their CGPA criteria.Many companies like Google ,Microsoft, Oracle, JP Morgan ,Texas Instruments,TCS etc have visited.The details of placement can be found on the vjti website.Percent of students getting placed is greater than 80% and rest of them go for higher studies or other exams such as govt exams etc.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I have less percentile I don't get admitted in Computer Engineering course I choose this course because this course is for students whose percentile is less and interested in core branch. As electronics is core branch there are many other opportunities.

My experience in my own college

Likes

Buliding and class have updated from previous
I don't have any interaction with campus life
Faculty of clg is go but it needs tu be more helpful for students

Dislikes

Actions on timely submission of project. Canteen ned to approve
Washroom are not clean not safe drinking water in some area of clg

I taking decision our college is good in Mechanical department we have good teachers to teach every teacher try there best to give best for mid sem 90 mins and for end semester we have 3 hours to complete our answers

Likes

VJTI has various events such as Freshers party, celebrity's meets, festivals events and sports events
VJTI has various communities to enhance the social skills such technovenza
Internships are provided by the college. Teachers are supportive and have good expertise.

Dislikes

Regular teaching of some subjects is not conducted sometimes.
Some faculties teaching method is not good.

Review from a Second Year student in VJTI !

Likes

The lab equipment and faculties are great, all the experiments are performed properly.
The placements and internship opportunities are great.
The alumni network is very strong. The seniors help the juniors a lot. Startup and coding culture is great.

Dislikes

The infrastructure is not upto the mark. Recently they have started renovation but it'll take a few months until it becomes top notch.
Minimum 75% of attendance in all the subjects is expected. This rule is understandable in a lower tier college, but in a college where all the students are above 90th percentile, I don't think attendance should be mandatory.
There is a frequent change in the time table of lectures.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from the 7th semester itself. The highest is around 62lpa and the average revolves around 14-15 which is a great ROI. Almost 100% of students get placed every year. My plans are to grab a good placement after the degree, most preferably in a good company on campus.

VJTI is blessed!!

VJTI is one of those colleges that doesn't just allow students scholarships but also chance to earn as well.
Not many colleges in Mumbai has hostels but VJTI has both boys and girls hostels.
Alumni bas of the college is as good as IITB.

Dislikes

Renovation is definitely required as from exterior the college is quite torn.

Placements begin from August every year and in a month or so all are placed. Siemens, CMI and many other core companies along with electrical appliances maker like Kent, and Maharaja too are college placement partners for our and Electrical engineering branch.

Reality Check to VJTI

Likes

Beautiful and huge college campus over 16 acres
Seniors are very helpful and friendly in nature
Organises a lots of events and have many comittees in it

Dislikes

Faculties for 1st are pretty rude and egoistic
In campus transport facilities not available
Needs a little bit renovation in some part as college building is more than 100 years old

Placement Experience:

College have too good numbers in placement .Even after having recession in market their is not much impact on campus placements. Every branch in VJTI have vary good placement numbers. Number of companies coming to college are too many .

VJTI Overall review with Pros and Cons

VJTI being one of the top engineering colleges , the atmosphere here is quite competitive, you'll get to improve yourself through interaction with other students and seniors, the seniors are too helpful and always there when fys need any kind of gelp
The college organises various kinds of fests , and believe me it's hella fun , else there are sports competitions time to time , various events on weekends to involve fys , hostelites competition, overall there's a mix of studies and fun here
There are various committees related to different kind of things , Like SRA for robotics and DLA for literature, Racing club and many more

Dislikes

Some part of college is still not in perfect shape , they should improve infrastructure
I opted for hostel and have already paid fees in September but they are renovating the hostels still , I haven't got my room , they said the deadline was 22nd September but it been more than a month :(
There's a mechanical building in college where majority of fys lecture happens , and there's no lift still in that building, and so we have to walk by stairs till 3rd floor

Placement Experience:

The highest package of textile branch was 18 Lpa given by Trident groups... and the average package was around 8.16 lpa, in textile branch out of 67 students 58 were eligible for placements and 43 got placed...

Academic excellence vjti offers a strong academic foundation with a rigorous and industry relevent curriculum.
Faculty expertise and mentorships - they are highly experienced and well qaulified.
placements and career - one of the strongest aspects of vjti is its placement service.

Dislikes

Infrastructure - while the labs and library are well equipped.
curriculam rigor and relevence - is also be strong.
social dyanmics and gender ration - with a low girls - boys ratio.

Placement Experience:

VJTI has excellent placement oppertunites with students from the 7 th semester . reputables companies like TCS Infosys and L&T visits campus ,making hundreds of offers . The highest package is arounf 32 LPA with an average package is 18 LPA about 95% of students get secure placements.

Inside VJTI: A Student's Journey Through Excellence and Growth

The professors are very experienced and are very helpful. Majority of the professors have completed their PhD in that specific subject.
The course is very good giving importance to both theoretical and practical knowledge. The labs are well designed and properly maintained.
The college offers very good placement in comparison to other colleges in Mumbai with average packages ranging from 10-12 lpa.

Dislikes

The infrastructure of the college is very old but they are renovating it.
The boys hostel facilities are a little bad and the rooms are very small and old. One room is shared with 4 people making it a little conjusted.

Placement Experience:

The placement offered at VJTI are very good. Students become eligible for placement right from the third year where companies offer 2 months internship during the month of June and July. This internship experience is mandatory and carries credit points in the academics. In the fourth year companies hire students for full time opportunities. Some of the companies that visited this year are PwC, IDFC First Bank, Oracle, Fractal, Citi Bank, L&T, Texas Instruments, Nestle India, JP Morgan and Chase. The highest package offered this year was around 57 lpa and the average packages is around 12 lpa. Almost 87% students were placed this year while majority of the other students opting for higher education. My plan is to peruse masters in Control System in Europe after completing my BTech from VJTI.
