The fees at XLRI is on the higher side of the spectrum. 30lacs almost for two years round. The campus has no AC in rooms, so the lodging expenses are quite high considering how the mess fees are not part of the fee structure but a separate contract of each individual with the mess contractor. However, the library fees come with a lot of access to premium resources such as EBSCO, HBR articles and cases, and lots more.

Fees and Financial Aid:

Tuition fee is 32 lakhs now, a 10 percent increase from last year. This is one of the highest when compared to other top IIMs. The average package increase is not aligned with the fees increase in the past two years, probably because of the recession going on in the job market. The mess fees comes to be around 6000 a month which makes it to Rs 1 lakh for the 18 months of your stay in the campus. Apart from these two, they really do not charge anything in any case. There are a few scholarships and financial aids. The number of such scholarships is limited to 10. The curriculum does not allow anyone to take any employment during the college.

The fees is 30 lakhs for 2 months including hostel and mess fees. The fees is usually hiked by 1-2 lakhs after 3-4 years but may vary according to institute policy.The high fees is justified by the high placements and 30+ median and average salaries. Loans up to 40 lakhs without collateral are easily available from all leading Indian banks. A offer letter is all that is needed to get the loan. The fee structure of both programs is equal with a total of 25 lacs for both years (12.5 lacs each). Even though the course fee is high compared to other B-Schools but the quality of education provided here covers the high fees. Also, there are many scholarship programs like MAF Scholarship, IDFC First Bank MBA Scholarship, HUL T-Thomas Scholarship, etc. Also, the campus provides campus jobs with an average salary of 32.7 lacs per annum.

However, multiple financial assistance is available to a student as XLRI discounts can avail education loan at a lower interest rate than the market through SBI Bank. Moreover, numerous scholarships are available to an XLer, like Mirae Asset Foundation Scholarship, IDFC First Bank Scholarship, etc. The fees are also compensated by the ROI a candidate receives through Internships and Placement offers. As the average internship offer was around 1.54L for 2022.

XLRI: A Dream Within A Dream

Fees and Financial Aid:

Fees at XLRI for its flagship PGDHRM and PGDM course is about 23.60 lakhs for the session 2022-24. This fee is to be paid in four installments. The boarding/lodging and mess fees are to be paid extra which sits at about 3 lakhs taking the entire course fee to 27.6 lakhs. Few students can opt for the international exchange program in the fifth trimester which costs about 5 lakhs. These figures are applicable for the batch 2022-24 and are generally revised for each year. XLRI offers various merit cum need-based scholarships (such as Aditya Birla Scholarship, XLRI Capital First, Mirae Asset Based Scholarship, etc.) to its students which are adjusted in the tuition fees themselves. Students need to apply for them separately. Apart from this, students can earn money by engaging in various internships and live projects offered throughout the year.
