The campus is quite small but it is beautiful also, the temple especially is nice looking and calming.
Like google , microsoft , l&t , tata , capgemini and many more they promise you 100% placements in the campus itself even internships are also offer which can help you better
Fee structure is affordable to everyone all can get scholarship and more companies will come and recruit job opportunities are excellent have great placement record one of the finest college in bangalore

Dislikes

The first year building is not good it looks very bad.
Fee structure of college. they are not giving the value which we are invsting.
*complete fee , including hostel, mess it costs around 2.5lakh *there are no scholarship for students, especially for my category *job roles and responsibilities are not undertaken by any of the students

My pov of NMIT (yelhankha)

Likes

The campus is very grean and is full of fresh air
There is plenty of parking space in nd outside of campus
There are plenty of food options in and outside of the campus

Dislikes

I had to pay for the parking (7k for a year (4 wheeler))
The campus has a lot of elevation and its Lil trying to walk back after classes
The classes in the initial sems are toll 4pm so it's really trying

Coming to the campus placements the placements have been going on from my semester from almost 4 months and majority of my friends have been placed and to be honest they have multiple offers each person has gotten a minimum offer of 4 lakh and the big companies are react to come so coming to the placements the placements are really good

Life in Nmit

Likes

College has a very friendly and social vibe to it where you can make many friends...there are very rare to none cases of ragging ...in both boys and girls ...
There are many different stalls and bakeries within the college where you can fulfill your cravings ...the college has a professional sized astro turf where you are allowed to play any sport of ur choice...
The staff and teachers are very understanding and caring for the future of the students and work hard with them to achive knowledge

Dislikes

The hostel has variety of food over a period of a month ...but the same variety is repeated again the next month...and it's changed only once every 6 months ...but you get very good non veg food every Sunday..
The male to female ratio is decent...in my opinion 6:5...
The placement packages could have been a bit better...but it's a good start for freshers like us once we graduate

Placement Experience:

From 5-6th sem placements start and the process involves many famous companies visiting our college and interviewimg the students.. Many companies visit such as BOSCH, INFOSYS,TCS,HP, BLUESTAR,L&T...etc The average package is of 6lpa Percentage of students getting placed is around 72%

NMIT the dream college

Likes

They give sports equal value as they give for studies!
Sports ground are maintained very nice!!
The management and the campus,and the lectures are actually friendly and cooperative

Dislikes

The timeings theree is like time breaks for students
You can't goo inside the campus after the college hours until and unless you are in team
The sports team discriminate as they want to play those friends and all

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college is pretty much nice !! There are many companies who come for compus drives , like Indian companies even japnese companies they japanese company are pretty good there is also a club Zenken these club help students to prepare for japnese companies!! The starting salary package for japanese company is 24LPA

Likes

the infrastructure and all buildings are good. all classes have been equipped with projectors and the campus is lush green campus. the college does have all sorts of amenities like bakeries canteens and greenery.
the social interactions in this college depends on language becuase there are more people from north india tho. but even though if u are a kannadiga too you can fit in. the canteen is top notch with all foods veg and non veg.

Dislikes

the things i disliked about this is the speakers that are not installed in any classes for seeing any videos in class.

Placement Experience:

from 6th semester students become eligible for campus placements as the internships would have been done and the placement cell would recommend the students profile to companies. 200 companies have come totally and around 85 percent students get placed. my plans are to go to qualcomm as a vlsi design engineer

NMIT-The college life

Likes

Things i liked is the campus , its greenary all over the campus and a good environment to enjoy your academic sessions
The faculties are well qualified and have different way of approaching students ,academically this college tries to give best put iof it
Other than academics they include several tech fest, contest, competitions, which is beneficial skill based so we can test our skills with other colleagues

Dislikes

Disliked facts are the sports area is very limited as they have more focus on hostel and other buildings for college
The college hours is very long it wuld start around 9 and end at 4
More industrial approach is needed other than focusing on the circulum

I love campus and it’s very calm to be honest
Exposure we get inside campus only as it’s important
Faculty help us with our placements and projects

Dislikes

The way they conduct labs I don’t like it much
Practical knowledge here we get less over all in engineering college

I would rate 5 to the course because I choose it and I always wanted to opt this course itself and even the college is doing it best to make students aware and get placed in good company so the exam sem end exams timing are 3 hours one subject and it's the most time we need

I liked the campus, though its small. It has all the facilities except for the gym., if you are a day scholar.
I love the facilities that they provode for education. Like labs, etc. Especially for aero and mechanical branch

Dislikes

I dont think there is any sort of dislike yet, but j heard that on campus good is not good. So yes, maybe that.

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are avergae to good. But all i can say is the llacement team works hard and brings in good companies. For my domain, we had companies like collins aerospace and lratt and whitney cone to placements. Other japanese companies also arrive for placements. Average package is 5 to 6 lakh. 4 if mass recuriter.

Life at Engineering college

Likes

The campus is good and we haven't faced any problem.
We have a huge campus which is good and our campus is free from traffic.
The surrounding nature is good and the greenery is awesome.

Dislikes

The College timing and timetable is not perfect.
The food and snacks inside the campus is costly conpared to outside
The parking for vehicle is a big problem.

Accredited by NAAC with A grade and it is accredited by NBA and is was established in 2001 and now it is the university and the highest packages are 35lpa and the lowest is 400000lpa top companies like Infosys,Wipro,TCS, Microsoft and many more will
Ranked among top 100 engineering college in india and ranked 5th among karnataka state and the campus is 23acres with a huge sitting area and play grounds and lot of cultural activities going around and central library with 50000 volumes and there
Separate hostels for boys and girls with well maintance and a good food provided to students with lots of protein and well maintained hygiene and it has strong industry communication in placemts and almost ninety percent students will be placed in ca

Dislikes

The teachers are not so well experienced and they never teach any thing in class and we have to learn from our end and they will not even pass or you won't get good score even after studying hard and the just fail and make you to apply for supplement
Even after writing supplementary they won't pass you and few teachers behave very rude as if they own that college and it is located very far from the heart of bangalore and no proper government bus or city bus will come there only auto or cabs we
Have to book and in hostel the washrooms will not be so clean and it has common washrooms for the floor with two geseyers and two washing machines which is not at all sufficient for the hole floor and no area to dry out clothes properly and dirty

They provide labs and teach us practically and they give us projects for real time development and guide us how to do and all and the teachers will help us doing the project and internships which are very usefull

The life at Nitte

Likes

infrastructure and labs in aeronautical department
the high research related opportunities because of the connection our faculty has
the social and cultural activities and the crowd which is very welcoming

Dislikes

strict attendance which can be annoying sometimes
the fact that we need to pay fees for fest but other college students can attend it for free

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible from 6th semester. We get Capgemini, TCS, Lufthansa, WIPRO aerospace. the highest package was from Boeing which was 9.38lpa. Only one student got selected. Average package is 3lpa. Atleast 70% of students get placed. But most of them want to pursue masters which is also my plan.

Without any doubt, Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology has several attributes that work in its favor. It is the youngest institution to gain autonomy that is situated 25 km away from the city and there is no traffic during early mornings. Many buses from the college help students and staff for commuting but having your own vehicle would be much better.

Academics:

There are various branches of engineering that are preferred like computer science, electronics and communication, information technology, and mechanical. These four branches have their reputation in the college but computer science is considered best.

Faculty:

The faculty is well-qualified and delivers various programming languages to the students very accurately, which is one of the most important parts if you are pursuing computer science. They have friendly behavior towards students, and easily give marks to them. If you focus on studies regularly then you will be able to score good grades in your exams.

Placements:

If you are an average student with a decent grade of 8-10 then you can secure placement offer in service-based companies. If you have good programming knowledge then you can expect to be selected in product-based companies. But they usually offer supporting roles. The average CTC offered at the institute is around 3-3.5 LPA.

So overall it is a decent college with good academics and facilities.
