I was chosen on the basis of my marks in 10+2. The college conducts online mode of admission where you have to register yourself on its website. Fill all the details and pay the online fee at the same time. If your name is among the merit list students, you will be called for counselling.

As I was looking for a girls college around my city, I came across this one. The college does not take any entrance test but gives admission on the basis of marks in 10+2. The college application form is available on its official website. The students need to fill the form with correct information and select the course according to the marks obtained. Then submit the form along with the application fee.

My college was amazing, I gained a lot of confidence, growth and development after being a part of this college. The teachers were also very hardworking teachers and the allover campus life was well in good.

Gokhale Memorial Girls' College is affiliated to University of Kolkata. I am persuing Bachelor of Arts [BA] {Hons.} (English) from here and the basic eligibility criteria for admission was to be qualified in 10+2/HSC from West Bengal or any equivalent Board and have passed in English with full marks not less than 100 are considered eligible for admission. I filled the admission form online which was on there website. However if you have scored minimum 70% marks in aggregate and 70% marks in English A or 80% marks in English B from West Bengal Board you are eligible for admission in this course.

The admission process fo the college is easy and not complicated, the staff is very helpful to you when you go to submit your documents. The admission is based on the merit list and your grades. I had to submit my documents and fees at the college.

One of the best (one of the top 3) colleges in Kolkata to offer an undergraduate course in psychology BA honours and the faculty, laboratory infrastructure and staff were great. Have been wanting to pursue Psychology since i was a kid so i was quite resolved to take up the course.
