Gokhale Memorial Girls College

Placement Experience:

The students get placements from Semester 5 and 6. Various companies visit the college like Tata. The internships occur in all the fields once conducted by Radio Mirchi. Since in the field of psychology we don't get a job as soon as we complete graduation my plans are to pursue my Masters degree and Doctoral degree before getting jobs

Placement Experience:

Though I'm a 2nd year student, still I can tell that atleast 15-20 students every year get placements from our College. TCS visits here every year. The final year students get placement jobs. Minimum salary is INR 10,000 which according to me is a pretty good salary monthly. The placement process is also very smooth from what I have heard and a lot of alumni association members help students get placed. Overall as a rookie the jobs are very good.

Placement Experience:

TCS visits our campus every year. Only starting level jobs are offered with a minimum package of 3 lakh rs. per annum. Many students get placements. The placement process is good and the Alumni Association takes care of everything. Bengali Actress Koyel Mullick is a notable alumni of the Psychology Department. Most of the faculties of University of Calcutta and the affiliated Colleges under were students of the Psychology Department of Gokhale College.

Big companies like TCS visits the college for placement. 4 out 5 students usually get through the interview because of we are taught in our stream about PI and GD. Apart from that students have good results than others which also acts as a plus point.

Internships Opportunities:

Till now I didn't get any internship since I'm a student of 1st semester. Bt renowned hotel like Taj hotel came here for hotel management course.Nad I attended that . This was a really good experience aftel all.
