Course Curriculum Overview
BSc. Geography is an undergraduate course which involves the study of the Earth and its many lands, features and phenomena. This course extends your knowledge in economic geography, practical knowledge of maps and scales, physical geography. The course involves both theoretical and practical knowledge.
Placement Experience
Our institute is not really good at placements. Companies hardly visit for recruitments but students are allowed to give interviews outside campus. The students for BSc. Geography can get employed in academic institutions, urban planning agencies, environment agencies, cartography centres etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities
My course fee was Rs.29,900 for 3 years which is nominal for majority of students. This means entire course was completed in Rs.89,700. The college also gives scholarships to meritorious students and helps them in financial matters.
Campus Life
These activities are organised by students themselves. These events are great source of break from daily dose of studies and bring out the best in you. These included Durga Pooja , Saraswati Pooja and many regional festivals. They also organised cultural programs, tournaments, sports meet.
Admission
I was chosen on the basis of my marks in 10+2. The college conducts online mode of admission where you have to register yourself on its website. Fill all the details and pay the online fee at the same time. If your name is among the merit list students, you will be called for counselling.
Faculty
They were knowledgeable in their subject matter and had great ability to deal with students in a consistent and fair manner. They Used to set goals for students and developed a strong and distinctive educational plans.
