- Calcutta University Online PG Registration Process has started. Students admitted to the PG courses must upload the relevant documents from Nov 6 to Dec 31, 2024. Further, Migrating Students must submit a hardcopy of the Students’ Registration Form at the Registrar’s Office from Nov 11 along with other required documents.
- The last date to apply for M.Music Courses 2024-2025 is Nov 11, 2024. The entrance test is scheduled for Nov 14, 2024. To check the complete schedule, click here.
- Applications are invited for admission to LLM/MSc/MA in Human Rights (Self-Financing Course). Aspirants can submit the online application forms through the university’s website (caluniv.ac.in) from Oct 25 to Nov 8, 2024. Entrance Test for the course is scheduled on Dec 1, 2024.

Basanti Devi College is the first government aided college in Kolkata which was founded by the Government of West Bengal in 1959. The institute offers profuse B.A. & B.Sc. (Hons. & General) courses at UG level and M.A. in English as well as M.A. in Political Science at PG level. The college also offers a Diploma course in Export-Import Management and certificate course in English Language Training. I choose this college because it's nearby my house it saved me money and the college is reputed with NAAC grade B+. The admission process is very easy if your selected you can check your name in the list pay directly through that portal or their own website and can reserve your seat. Eligibility is min 60% Most preferred subject is english bengali political science education economics in our college and it is a all girls college so no problem about ones safety

The eligibility of the course is getting 50% in Higher secondary level and there is no entrance exam, I find the application process in online internet, the admission process is very good, I am satisfied.

Exams will be conducted monthly wise for student's betterment.Exams are conducted in strict manner only. Every year has 2 semesters with a final exam in each semester.
