Course Curriculum Overview

4

In our college, the professer are very strict about our course curriculum. Here every topic, every practical is handled with care. Any difficult is clear by the professor without any delay. Before Calcutta University exam , our college organises a mock test and prepare us well for the CU examination.

Internships Opportunities

4

We get opportunities for internships from second year. Our colleges doesn't offer internship in the first year, because they want us to learn and analyse the subject , know fully about the areas then work in practical fields.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yearly we have to pay 20,160 for the students having B.sc in psychology with economic as there minor subject. Yearly we have to pay 20,360 for the students having B.sc in psychology with geography as there Minor subject because both becomes practical subject. The college professor are very helpful regarding the scholarship. College provide facilities with all the government scholarship.

Campus Life

4

We have drama club literature club music club and art and craft club where we get to participate in the inter College competitions as well as outside the centres competition. We get to participate on various college fests, where we get to showcase at talents and achieve prices for our college. As the college atmosphere is very friendly so we get a great experience of interaction and communication with others hence the social aspect are satisfactory. One negative part of my college is that we don't have any sports related club or any activity related sports but regarding academics our college never fails to handle it with care.

Admission

I had applied for Ashutosh college, Muralidhar college, bethun college and Gokhale Memorial Girl's College for BSC psychology. But I did not get BSC psychology in bethune college so I was waiting for other colleges though my dream college was Gokhale Memorial girls College. First I had got a call from Muralidhar college and then after 2 to 3 days I got a call from vocal Memorial girls College. By call I meant that first my name came in the Muralidhar girls College merit list and then my name was published in the Gokul Memorial girls College merit list as this is my dream college I choose it over other colleges. So I don't regret my decision because, this college has excellent professors and great labs for practicing psychological practicals. Moreover the academics like the syllabus the practical syllabus are taken care and the college finishes each and every topic and benefits us to learn more.

3

Course Curriculum Overview:

I think I'm a curious student. Integrating biology with technology is interesting Recently we are studying animal tissue culture plant tissue culture which is superb. Generating a plan from a single cell is truly something interesting. I was drawn to genetics and biotechnology application . This curriculum prepares a student for research and industrial purpose . We get to do lab experiments project work under professors. In my opinion improvement can be done by industrial visits Exams take place at the end of each semester and we have mid sems in between

Placement Experience:

college placements are good in this college with a number of good financial and consultancy firms coming in with new gen companies as well in the service and sales industry. moreoever getting a good placement in a top financial or consultancy placement requires a POR in a good society as a criteria, its not really required but adds to your chances of getting it. moreover you require to participate in a number of case study competitions for the same as well. my plans after graduation is probably working for a year or two after which i plan on doing my MBA. around 50-60% who apply get a placement.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the course curriculum in terms of relevance as moderately relevant. My decision to choose this course was primarily influenced by its research learning facility and practical based learning. The curriculum helps each individual to prepare for further comepetitive exams and expanding their jobs option with full and profound knowledge of data based works and computer skills. To enhance the course curriculum and teaching methods , I would suggests dedicating deep learning with lots of real life examples, updating the syllabus to recent advancements Providing recorded lectures would be of so much help and providing more opportunities for students to present their work giving them detailed feedback would improve the skills and learning capacity of the students.
