Course Curriculum Overview

Completely relevant. As the college is autonomous it has its own syllabus. Which matches with the net gate jam exam syllabus. When someone came our college for seminar they strange that we know this much. Exam are quite difficult in 2 months interval.

Internships Opportunities

Many private firms with csir institutes, iits iiscs, srfp fellowship, nius intern. As our institute is mainly research oriented and focused. But also our students go to many industries. Most our students get seats in iits iiscs tifr for further studies. Our college has also tuition classes for this type of exams like jam gate tifr etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

Year wise 13500 total No extra fees taken. No discount for any category For workshops you have to pay if you want to join. Svmcm scholarship, jindal, inspire etc and other scholarship can be availabled. College will provide a scholarship whose yearly income less than 1 lakh.

Campus Life

Good. I don't know the exact name at this time but coding and games out side games. Beyond this many reading writing essays speech compitition on various topics. Computer for all in lab. Smart classroom also. Library access to all journals access.

Admission

This college is all india rank 3. You can visit the college website and read other recognitions many many from DBT, DST and other also. Ragging free campus Teachers are very interactive and healthy relationships Disciplined

4 student with 1 teacher. I mentioned relationship between teacher student previous that it's very good. Dr Ajoy Mallik Dr arunava Mukherjee I like 2 exam in a semester one mid and other is end 4-5 subjects vary in each semester. Attendance has also numbers

Night Life

Gym canteen, library has access to all students. No hostel. Ganges ghat. Mandirs and many more temple. There is available mess, you can opt for them ranging from 600 pm to 5000pm . Single double tripple many types of rooms.

SXC Kolkata is a gem of a college.

Placement Experience:

Computers are so vast that masters is mandatory and therefore I have certain plans for that. However big scale IT companies come here and students of Computer science Hons have had placements worth 6-10 lakhs easily. This is a Boys college so only male students are given addmission and one is eligible to apply for MSc Mathematics and Computing if he obtains a mean percentage of 50% up to the first 5 semesters of one's BSc in mathematics with almost 30 seats on offer and reservation of seats for the OBC, SC and ST as per as the government norms. RKMVCC - A Place to build students.

Rkmvcc has ranked 8th in the 2019 NIRF college ranking. And 10th in 2020 NIRF ranking. And not only that it even is bearing the tag of Centre For Potential Excellence of the govt of India. Talking about the faculty, as I'm in botany dept I am definitely gonna tell you the dept is absolutely great. With great teachers, and supporting and student-friendly college authority. Even the college provides research facilities in botany and all I can say It has the best botany dept in eastern India. Actually this college selects students through entrance examination exception was only in 2020 due to covid crisis. Now my guidance to other students will be if you want to persue a career in general science, and especially in life sciences, chemistry then Rkmvcc, will be a great place as it's politics-free and has great intent to build students.
