Course Curriculum Overview
i choose my course because of mix of theory methods and research opportunities. the research compenent help bridge class with real situations. placements and industrial linkages are necessary at this stage. odd sem in december and even sem in may and the paper level is moderate to difficult

Admission
i applied for du, bhu, vbu, dgc, pu and got confirmation from each colleges but choose pu because of it's academic legacy, strong economics department and research oriented curriculum. the entrance test for ug is pubdet and for pg is pumdet and eligibility is minimum 75% in class 12 exam
Faculty
faculty student ratio is 1 is to 12, dr mousumi dutta, dr zakir hussain are some well known faculties of my departmen, some courses are like macroeconomics, econometrics are not strongly focused on. there are around 4 internal assesments per course module of 10-15 marks and an end sem of 35 marks
Night Life
for day scholars, gym cafes library are available from 10am to 5 30 pm and for hostellers it is till 7 pm. on campus, ccd, informal adda and out campus indian coffee house, college square. yes being a busy area, it is absolutely safe for students
