Likes
- In our university, no ragging is happened and seniors are also very gentle and helpful. Every student can give their opinion without any hesitation or without fear.There is a very strong bonding in the seniors and juniors.
- Library faculty is very important.In our university there are two library, central and for arts. Both are standard. Students get a lot information from there. And also carry books from library. Reading area is also there.
- Huge play ground in the middle of the university. Lots of playing option is there. And many tournaments will happen. Many fest and occasion will celebrate.
Dislikes
- I think science faculty have to improve more.Because sometime students raise their voice for the lab features. So it's need to carefully handle by the higher authority of the university.
- University is the great experience of the students. So everyone must be participate in the events.
- Everyone has own decision but though please stop to smoking openly which somehow bothered others
Course Curriculum Overview
There are very good professors in my faculty. Because their teaching methods are ready very well and standard. Choosing my study about English it's totally worth it. Teaching skills, class rooms, and also the nature is very good for making your concentration. I think just little bit of change need in this course curriculum. Like screen presentation etc. Exam rules are totally depends on the authority.
Internships Opportunities
Becoming a ug student I have no idea about internships. But I heard that there are also internship opportunities available in our university. I think it's very good thing for the students. They can apply for internship in the university.
Fees and Financial Aid
I have to pay approx 1100 for per semester. From the total amount nine hundred is for tution fees and two hundred is for examination fees. Becoming a art student there is no lab fees. There is no change in course fees for any category.
Campus Life
Many fest and annual function will happen. Students can enjoy themselves.Many play tournament also held occcationally.There are two library and both are very helpful for students.books and journals both are available.Classrooms are highly maintained.There are many extracurricular activities and sports in the campus.
Admission
I don't applied for other colleges or universities. I gave PUBDET and get a chance to study in presidency. For it I don't feel any regret. In the university admission process is not so difficult. There are some basic rules for admission. Qualifying the PUBDET exam to admission. There are limited seat and also for reservation category. Three rounds are held for admission. Total experience of my admission in university is quite good.
Faculty
Every faculty is very good.And their relation with the students is really very fine. If any one in trouble, faculty gives response quickly and help them.Personally I love my faculty because I am attached with it more than other facilities. So , I can gave opinion about it .Exam will held samester wise. How the exam paper's it's totally depends on the authority basically.
Interview Experience
No , I didn't faced any kind of discussion.the question pattern is MCQ based. Not so much tough tbh.process is very simple.Just have to knowledge about English literature and solved the previous questions only.
Night Life
At the night, university looks pretty good. Students gossip on the ground.Campus looks very beautiful.After 6pm, campus is off for the students basically.Famous coffie house is present opposite of the college. It's very popular in Kolkata. I think this area is safe in night.
