Gupta College of Technological Sciences (GCTS), Asansol is an exclusive college of pharmacy in West Bengal established in the year 2000. Admissions to the B.Pharma are granted on the basis of the candidate’s rank obtained in the WBJEE (West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination). For lateral entry, D.Pharmacy candidates need to appear in JELET (West Bengal Joint Entrance Lateral Entry Test)
Selection of candidates to the M.Pharma program is done on the basis of an entrance exam conducted by the institute followed by a viva.

I admitted in the exam through JEE ( MAIN ) Exam in the first counselling . 85% of the batch intake for B .pharm is through WBJEE exam and rest 15% is from JEE ( MAIN ) Exam . In both exams , three phase counselling is done . The minimum cutoff for JEE( Main ) is around 98 percentile

Eligibility of the students in the college is through State exams. Students have to go through the admission procedure through the counselling of the obtained rank. it is a well-maintained and smooth procedure for admission.

Eligibility -Must be a science student. Admission is done through Wbjee and 10 percent through jee. Application Fee. The candidates from the general category are required to pay the fee of Rs 500, whereas Rs 400 is applicable to candidates from SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B category. No, so far I don't see any changes to be made in the admission process.
