My College review

Likes

Good faculties. Good environment. Good study.
Good campus. Surroundings are good. In the main city.
Good bond between senior junior and faculties.

Dislikes

The play ground is not so big. Can't play while rain.
Attempt all labs & classes. Exam in every month.
Too much competition. Proper dressing up.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The B.Pharmacy curriculum is well-structured and covers both theoretical and practical aspects. Most subjects are taught in line with PCI guidelines. Our syllabus includes pharmacology, pharmaceutics, medicinal chemistry, pharmacognosy, and more. The college maintains regular classes and internal exams to keep us engaged academically.

Likes

The teachers are really helpful and help the students when they are having problems.
There are greater scops to extra curriculum activities.
There are labs and stationary available in college premises

Dislikes

The canteen food can be prepared more properly.

The curriculum prepares ask for real world application and for the academic pursuits. The frequency and timing of exams are prefixed by the board and the difficulty level is moderate to high according to the studying capacity of students.

Likes

The greenary campus, infrastructure of the the college.
The placement is overall good , cipla,apollo, Glenmark, macloeds visits here for taking freshers.
The learning facilities are very high,and well developed.

Dislikes

The canteen is needed a upgradation for the students who are in the daily basis.
The playground is quite small,and full of stone and sand ,it also needed a upgradation.
The classroom has no airconditioner,in the summer it is very tough to survive in the second floor in the scorching heat.

The placement rate of our college is very good . Companies like macloeds, cipla, apollo, Glenmark,lupin , visits here to hire freshers in a decent amount. approx 65-70% students get placed in the campus,and reaming students are went for higher education in the different parts of the country.

Quality Education . Good Laboratories. Experts lab assistant

Dislikes

No smart board available. Bad conditions of boards
Bathroom and urinary not proper clean sometimes
Some of the equipment are gets old they need to change

Things I like about the college is the faculty members
The canteen food is delicious and the rate is also affordable
The sports events are very much exciting

Dislikes

The college infrastructure is not upto the mark
There is a lack of cricket tournament in the college
As it is beside the traffic so there is lot of noise disturbance

The placement record of the college is quite good the interviews of the student starts at fourth year .the placement are of two types in campus and off campus it depends upon the student the which company he or she wants to work

Likes

The teachers are excellent and friendly.
The teachers help and stand by us all time.
The environment and surrounding in college is awesome.

Dislikes

The infrastructure needs to be improved a little.

Placement Experience:

The college provide medium level of the placements as most students gets placed. College provide good job opportunities as well as helps in geting internship in other big companies. The college students who opt for higher studies do not take job but the other student go for job and get the jobs mostly.

An overview of B.Pharm graduate from Gupta College of Technological Science (Asansol)

Likes

Environment of the college is pretty good. College ground is bit small but batch mates were very good. Various tournaments also happed there and cultural programs to.
Infrastructure of college is very old. Laboratory facilities are there equipped with all of the required instruments but some of them need to be upgraded.
Theachers are good and experienced. Teacher's teaching methods are also quite good. They provide notes of each classes. Placement cell is also active in our year almost 90% student got Placement with college intervention.

Dislikes

College campus is very small. Less greenery present there. College garden is very small. Infrastructure of College building is very poor. Lack of bathroom and toilet. No smart board and projector are there for teaching.
Not even a good canteen is there food quality also very cheap.

Course Curriculum Overview:

After completing B.pharm you can go for further study or you can go for pharmaceutical industry but pay scale is very less. You can have you own medicine shop or you can apply for hospital pharmacist as well.

Placement Experience:

From 4th year, college offering you to give placement. Almost 70 to 80 % students are placed on campus. 4 to 10 company are visited every year. Average package about 3lpa last year. Highest package is almost 5lpa.

Likes

Faculty and their teaching process, Sports, laboratories, library etc.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester we are eligible for the campus placements. Sun Pharma, Nestle etc companies are visited. 75-80% students are getting placements. I personally want to do higher studies after completing my degree.
