Likes
- Environment of the college is pretty good. College ground is bit small but batch mates were very good. Various tournaments also happed there and cultural programs to.
- Infrastructure of college is very old. Laboratory facilities are there equipped with all of the required instruments but some of them need to be upgraded.
- Theachers are good and experienced. Teacher's teaching methods are also quite good. They provide notes of each classes. Placement cell is also active in our year almost 90% student got Placement with college intervention.
Dislikes
- College campus is very small. Less greenery present there. College garden is very small. Infrastructure of College building is very poor. Lack of bathroom and toilet. No smart board and projector are there for teaching.
- Not even a good canteen is there food quality also very cheap.
Course Curriculum Overview
After completing B.pharm you can go for further study or you can go for pharmaceutical industry but pay scale is very less. You can have you own medicine shop or you can apply for hospital pharmacist as well.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are requirement of 3.5 to 5.5 lakh for completion of the 4 year B.pharm course. If you are in west bengal you can apply for SVMCM scholarship while you are in B.pharm. No extra tuition fees is required by using your college notes and library book you can appear for exam and can clear it smoothly. Some of Pharmaceutical industry are there to recruit B.pharm fresher graduates and you can go for hospital pharmacist job.
Campus Life
Overall it's a good experience during my graduation period. We have various clubs in your college from photography to NSS. Campus life isn't too god. Lack digital boards and projector in the classroom. There are various sports activities including football to cricket in the ground but ground was small.
Admission
You should have physical science, chemistry, Math or biology in your class 12. Then you need to appear for west bengal joint entrance examination. After getting the rank card you can go for counseling for your college. Or you can also take admission through management of the college.
Faculty
Faculty to students ratio is near about 10 to 15 :1. There are mentor systems. You can reach out any of the faculty anytime you need. They are experienced and have good command in their field. Any problem regarding your subject as well as personal problem you can share they are ready to help you regarding your problem.
