Just awesome.

As I am 1st year student so I have not realized anything bad about this college till now.

(WBJEE) I was interested in pharmacy or medical course from childhood, so I opt this stream. I got my chance in 2nd counselling.

It is a very good course i would tell it is better than most of medical streams. It is a stream full of practicals and experiments. This college mainly focuses towards the practical and studies. Lots of a 4 years course where you will learn a lot about drugs, it's dosage form and quantitative analysis along with maths and biology i will prefer this course to all bio aspirants.

Since I am a 1st year student so I have not a strong idea about it. But I have seen many notice board related to placements from various countries and internships it provides.

As I already said I am a first year student so I don't have enough idea about it but I have seen various posters of companies for placements in our campus. I have seen various adds like from LUPIN, GSK, CIPLA, SUN PHARMA, MANKIND, GLENMARK, etc which I think are very good companies.

Our college has a very good open space and is quite big one. Every year various sports events are held. Both indoor and outdoor events like cricket, football, table tennis, chess ,etc. Winners are awarded with price and trophies. Every year there is a fresher's party for the 1st year students. Rest fest is also held twice a year.

The total fee structure for B.Pharm (officially) is 445000 if the entry is through any entrance exam. I think it is quite expensive because at the same place other colleges are taking comparatively less money than this college, but as it is NAAC accredited college, so that's why I think they are taking more.

The college provides various scholarships according to the quality of the students. I have applied for PM scholarship scheme which I am going to get from next year.

The campus is fully ragging free campus. The campus life is quiet good and interesting. In our class the girl: boy ratio is quiet equal. Every month various seminar are conducted. Various pharmaceutical companies comes and have the seminar. Last week we had a seminar on thalassemia. Many debate competition are also held.

The hostel is quite bad as the rooms are very small. The fooding is also not so good but the canteen gives good food at a reasonable price. But the play area and open space is just awesome. I use to play everyday with my friends. They are taking about 3.5 lacs overall stay at hostel.

As I said earlier it is a ragging free campus, hence the elder student cannot do anything then also don't do anything they are very helpful they only helped me to follow which books needed in the subject.

The exam structure is very good rather it is quite strict. Camera is present in every room. Two teachers give guards during the examination. During practical the teacher keeps on roaming here and there. But this things are quiet necessary. Ultimately I will tell that it was a very hectic day for me. But the overall process was good.

Three counselling were done. I got my chance in 2nd counselling. Different information like pass certificate, migration certificate, admit card, etc were taken by the WBJEE head office at saltlake, Kolkata and finally at college my admission was done by the director of the college.

Very good and helpful teachers every subject is taught by two different teachers. Most are M.Pharm qualified and some are also PhD holders. Ours maths teacher is from IIT Kanpur. He is just awesome in teaching. Rest all are also good and responsible. Some teachers are very strict but good.
