BMLT is more laboratory oriented subject and GNIPST fulfills that criteria very well. It provides excellent laboratory facilities, consists various instruments and hives great access to the labs. In each semester four internal exams are conducted and a final semester exam at the end of the semester.

Placement cell of GNIPST provide internship to BMLT students. They offer 1 month of intership at the end of 4th semester and a 6 months of intership at the end of 8th semester. This semester are provided in government as well as private sector helping the students to get familiar to both the sector amd get various job opportunities. Various government hospital are tied up with college in west bengal providing opportunities to each students for internships.

Placement cell is very active in GNIPST. Students are assisted amd trained for placements from the third year only. Average package ranges from 3- 5 LPA. Every year 100 percent of placement assistance are provided. Also every year most of the students get placed and some also move towards higher studies like MSC MLT(MMLT) .

For Bsc medical lab technology (BMLT) total course fee of 4 (four) years course is about 3,49851(approx ). This course includes 8(eight) semesters each semester fee is about 40k to 42k , which is very affordable for every kind of student. For financial aid our college provides scholarship like SVMCM, MINORITY SCHOLARSHIP, NSP scholarship and various scholarship provided by both state and central government. Overall, GNIPST provide good chances for every kind of students to study.

Apart from academics, the college also encourages participation in seminars, awareness programs, and extracurricular activities, which help in overall personality development. I’m proud to be part of such a committed institution. The central library is another great asset — it's spacious, quiet, and well-stocked with both academic and reference materials, including e-resources.

GNIPST is a NAAC accredited college with affiliation under MAKAUT also recognised by UGC. And it a JIS. Group of colleges which itself speaks about a quality. GNIPST provides interships of each and every students in government and also private sector making the students familiar to every aspect. The placement cell is very active om GNIPST.

The ratio is like two teachers are assigned for each subject and one teacher for laboratories, so a great attention is given towards the development of students. College campus has canteen for fooding . The students can spend their free time after college in the big fields. GNIPST has huge grounds surrounded by greenary making perfect for spending time for relaxation. College consists of library also which has a huge capacity for students to fit. The college is present in municipality town area so it is present in safe place.
