- There are single accomodation hostels provided to all the students at a minimal cost of 4.2k per year

- The library timings is only from 9am upto 7pm
- The playground is not big enough and lacks proper maintenance

Admission is through entrance exam NEET-UG conducted by NTA every year and counseling takes place both for All india quota and state quota students. The admission process is smooth if you can secure a good rank in neet ug examination

- The hospital building is guarded 24×7 with enough number of guards most of whom are ex-army .
- The faculties are all well qualified and experienced to teach us and answer all our doubts .

- The auditorium has not yet started working

Anyone qualifying NEET-UG can seat for the counselling process. And admission is to be done on the stipulated interval by the WBMC. In this college there's a 51% reservation for IP students and rest are for non-IPs which includes other govt mandated reservations

- Fess is slightly Higher compared to other state colleges (1 lakh/year for AIQ and SQ students)and 30k/year for ip students

For getting admission to medical college, one has to qualify NEET UG and secure a decent rank for the admission process. Counseling for mobs course takes place on the MCC site and based on rank, category, and preference you are allowed college. For this ESIC MEDICAL COLLEGE JOKA KOLKATA : Counseling by AQI, State quota, and IP (insure person) quota. Doctors are called next to God. This motivated me to join the MBBS course. One of the profession which gives you a lot of respect along with money. Our college have highly qualified faculties with 7 to 8 in each department. Our batch strength is of 100. Terms exam are conducted every 3 months. It's a bit difficult to pass.
