After completing the final year MBBS, students are required to undergo a year of mandatory rotatory internship.
After the completion of internship, ESIC provide employment under bond criteria for 1 year as Junior Residents ( Non - academic) in various ESIC hospitals & ESIC medical colleges.
After passing the final year exam, we have to do internship in same medical college for 12 months in different departments.
After completion of internship we have to do 1 year house stuff either in the same college or any other college where the authority will assign us.
Every student have to do housestuff for 1 year, if any want to discontinue it then he/she have to give 5 lakh + gst as penalty.
You will get a sure internship after 4.5 years of this course
Stipend amount of internship is arpund 28000
You have to do bond after 5.5 years of this course
You will get around 1lakh as salary
You can also skip bond by paying 5lakh
MBBS is a very high demand course. No issues of employment after passing the course and getting the degree. One can opt to work as a RMO in different hospitals or can prepare for post graduate entrance examination. Though ESI provides employment for 1 year to its students on a contractual basis
Students have to do a compulsory bond service for 1 year in any part of the country in a centrally controlled ESI after they graduate. They can extend that bond period once 1 year is over.
During this service they get an avg of 1lakh per month salary and if they decide to leave the bond service they have to pay 5 lakhs as penalty.
Sure shot placement of all students after MBBS as JRs with a very high salary (1.1 lakh per month)
Placement Experience:
After you pass your 9th semester and final proffs you can start your internship where you'll be paid a stipend around 30k/month. After one year of compulsory internship you will be posted as a JR where you will be getting 1 lakh/month.
Placement is 100% as everyone is required to serve the bond
In medical College, no such placement occurs, actually after completing 4.5 years of academics we need to work as an intern in our hospital for 1 year i.e "compulsory rotatory internship" where we are paid monthly. Then after graduating you can apply to other hospitals as a doctor.
Internship in various departments is provided and is compulsory for all. It is a one-year paid internship with a 23.5 k monthly stipend. The internship experience is good with great seniors who are always ready to help, but patients are fewer as only the insured persons receive treatment over here.
Intership opportunities include 12 months of internship in all the dept including radiologu etc. Also provide with monthly 27000 rupees stipend. Also exposure is also adeqaute and the internship time gives opportunity to all the sthdents to learn and get maximum exposure.
