Teacher are so good. they behave very well. they support all time
Yes, they provide scholarship fees, the job opportunities are also good and placements are also good.
Amazing campus and social life. sports culture is one of the best in this college and also the main thing that is placements are the main attraction point of this college

Dislikes

The hostels facility is not so good. the bathrooms are not so clean and there are hygiene issues. the food in the mess is not that much healthy.
The things i disliked about my college is the teachers. sometimes the teachers teaches us in bengali language which is not understand by all the students
The infrastructure of the class is not prominent. we have to ware college uniforms everyday. the projectors are broken in the class. there are broken benches in the class.

My concern for my college

Likes

The thing I liked the most about haldia institute of technology is that the campus is located at a very peaceful area where their is no crowd no traffic nothing. The environment near the campus is so peaceful. Near the college distraction level is 0
Secondly the thing I like the most about the college is it's campus. The campus of haldia institute of technology is so good and neat and clean. The environment inside the campus is so relaxing. The campus is so large
The next thing which I like the most is that this campus has its own restaurant, gym, departmental store, basic necessities store ,etc. And this all are inside the campus

Dislikes

The weather of haldia is so bad that it makes out day classes worse.
Secondly the thing I don't like about haldia institute of technology is that in rainy season the college gets completed indulge into water
And I don't like the bouncer of the college they are not at all friendly

Placement Experience:

There is almost 95% placement. Till the end of 4th year, faculties make sure that every children should get placed and try the level best to place each and every student in good companies, except the one who is interested in higher studies

Placement Experience:

In our college one became eligible for placement in 7th semester i.e. final year . Here placement percentage ratio is very good compared to other private institutions . The companies visited every year namely Haldia petrochemicals , Flipkart , Amazon , Atomberg , TCS , Mahindra , Infosys and many more . The highest package offered in campus was of 27 lakhs per annum as per last year data .

Good college with a large campus

Placement Experience:

From the 6th semester, students become eligible for placement Placement record above 90 percent every year with company like wipro,cognizant,infosis visting the campus Also, other companies like tech Mahindra also recruit from HIT and if you have good knowledge about brach then you can easily get a package of more than 5 lakh per year And one thing or the institute is located in Industrial belt apart from experience you will get everything at Haldia. After getting the degree everyone wants a job so I will also try to get a campus job and then will think about further studies.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students can sit in a placement program. Many company visits here such as tech Mahindra, wipro, Meghalaya, cement, nescafe, haldia, petrochemicals, jhonson control. Highest package is 12-13 lakhs averageis 3.5 lakhs. Around 75% students get placement. My plan is to do mtech after btech so i am not interested in placement scenarios.

Better and a Quality education

Placement Experience:

As talked the placement scenario is good in my college as well as in my department. Students can get jobs according to their capabilities. This year one student has grabbed two to three jobs which is not an easy task. From the sixth semester students becomes eligible for the campus placements and start their internships and industrial training for getting jobs. Many companies visit our college like Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Haldia petrochemicals, Meghalaya Cement, etc and many more. If a student is good he or she will definitely get a job from the college. The highest and lowest salary totally depends upon the individual that how they perform in front of the interviewers and their capabilities and speaking skills. The minimum salary starts from 3.5 lakh per annum and the highest it can go to the capability of the individual. Talking about the overall placement of college around 70 percent of students get placed and in our branch, almost 95 percent of students get a job.

YOU'LL LIVE BEYOND YOUR EXPECTATIONS HERE IN HALDIA INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was not sure about this course at first and I was scared at first while opting into it but it changed with time. AEIE has loads of opportunities, be it at core companies or at software companies. You will get to learn about both the sectors here, here you are not bound to read a single concept of your course, which made my mind to not change my branch. Faculties here are very helpful, won't say you will learn everything by them, obviously, you got to do your grind here. Teachers are extremely qualified here, few of them are still pursuing their career in higher studies and some are writing and publishing their research papers. The teaching method is obviously the same as any other college that has one on one interactive classes. You get enough time to prepare for your semester exams and they are timely termed, you'll face problems only if you have not studied anything and so it is only difficult for those students. The difficulty is moderately fine for regular students.

Haldia Institute of Technology is one of the largest residential engineering institutes in West Bengal. It is spread over an area of 36.98 acres of land and has been ranked at 163 position by NIRF ranking. The college is also accredited with A grade by NAAC

Courses:

The college offers various courses- B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA and MCA with a number of specialisations. The college offers B.Tech in CE, CSE, ECE, ME, IT, EE, Biotech and in many other specialisations and M.Tech in ECE, CSE, CE, ME and Biotechnology. The college has also offered new courses for B.Tech in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence and cyber security. Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering and Chemical Engineering are top departments.
