What is DNS Course what is required

The DNS stands for the diploma in nautical Science. The academic requirement is mentioned below:

The cadet must pass (10+2) or equivalent securing minimum 60% in PCM (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) & 50% in English either in (10+2) or10th standard.
Not more than 20 years as on 1st October of admission year.
The candidate must be medically fit and should meet the Medical Requirements as per M. S. Rule 2000 (for further details please Medical Requirement in Selection Procedure).
Vision should be 6/6 (normal) in each eye separately without visionary aid and no colour blindness.
